For those of u who don't know this, tomorrow, september the 10th, there will be a full moon in pisces at 11:36 a.m. I'm not exactly sure what this means but i've been looking it up and here are some stuff i read:this day is the 'lucky love day'of the year for pisceans (if this proves true for anyone plz let me know!!) Pisceans: You get a revealing Full Moon in your sign on the 10th. Pay attention to what you find out about you at that time. The Moon in Pisces marks a time of emotional sensitivity, nostalgia, and spirituality. People may become more sensitive, compassionate, and imaginative. As creativity will be enhanced, this is a good time to explore musical talents and other artistic endeavors. Represented by a Pair of Fishes, Pisceans are selfless and spiritual, often strongly intuitive, and they are receptive to the collective unconscious. While the Moon moves through Pisces, people may feel devoted and gentle but also fragile, passive, and timid. Dreams and memories may stir during this influence. IP: Logged |

I just seem to be having serious temper-control problems. I started snapping at someone earlier for no apparent reason and made some excuse to get of the phone at 3pm before i started getting snippy to a workmate. bleh. IP: Logged |

Moon Lore Alert! Moon Lore Alert!I found this on the Net -- this Pisces Full moon is also the Harvest Moon. --------------------- September's Full Moon ~ Harvest Moon This Moon is called the Wine or Harvest Moon because it rises to fullness during the time of the grape harvest. As wine ingestion alters the state of consciousness, ancient people believed that it put them in touch with the Divine Self and its wisdom. For this reason, the Harvest Moon is a celebration of spirit. As such, the Harvest Moon provides a good time to be quiet, still the body, and let the spirit take over. Pay attention to the wisdom that lives within you. Nurture it. Fertilize it. Cultivate and harvest it. Then follow wherever it takes you. Wine/Harvest Moon Ideas: Wear shades of purple and lavender to invoke wisdom, and create the atmosphere necessary to call upon the Divine Self for guidance. Decorate altars with flowering herbs and fruit of the season. Use purple or lavender candles and burn Full Moon Incense. Alternatively, burn sage, allspice, or mugwort as incense. Serve graham crackers spread with peanut butter, and grape juice for libation. Have a grape-eating contest in honor of Bacchus and Dionysus, Gods of Wine and Harvest. Let the winner bless the participants with a grape juice toast by saying something like: With this juice I bless you all
Big and little, large and small By Gods of Wine and Ancient Crone May Wisdom be your guide alone Weather permitting, go outdoors with a piece of the season's best fruit. Give the fruit back to Mother Earth by burying it in the ground. As you bury the fruit, say something like: I offer You this perfect food With thanks and love for all You do I honor You, O Mother Earth Please bless me with Your joy and mirth The Harvest Moon also provides a good time for a little brain-teasing spiritual exercise. Think of something and someone else try to guess your thoughts. Keep it simple and let everyone have a turn. Source~ "The Craft: A Witch's Book of Shadows", by Dorothy Morrison. IP: Logged |

I played a very intense game of chess (and won!) this afternoon, which may have been influenced by this Pisces transition. I was pretty much losing from the start, but I "thought my way out". He was a Leo, so victory was even sweeter Also, didja know Dionysus was banned from Rome because people who worshipped him partied too much (more for what they did in the parties I think than the actual partying itself). Happy Pisces Moon! Dean/o. ------------------ Love and Light to aLL My numerology program according to "Star Signs" by LG. Magically Logical Magic is Logically Magical Logic (and vice versa)! I the Harvest Moon. It glows the most beautiful orange so low in the sky. It reflects on the lake and as the water shimmers, it comes to life. Mesmerizing juniperb IP: Logged |

My Mars is in Pisces too, juniperb, and I played hooky today. Is that how you spell hooky?? It's been a long time since I've read any Mark Twain or had an occasion to use that word! I rarely call off work with no good reason...and I don't like to lie (I said I have a bit of a tummy problem, very non-specific, blamed it on dinner last night)but today I just wanted to sleep in a bit (til 8:30) and have a good look at a beautiful pre-autumn day, just spend it lazily with my two female cats, who are now sleeping in patches of sunshine. Have a lovely day all!

Oh my, I don't know how I glossed over that...but my condolences to you and your family as well, juniperb. Lunargirl, I'm well. The girl kitties and I miss T.C., but that is something that heals more each day. Other than that, I'm just tired. Have an appt. today with my Doc to talk about my latest thyroid results...it's too low, but I'll have to convince him to up my dosage. How goes your job search?? Are things alright with you? It seems there are so many big planetary things going on right now, throwing us all off kilter. I am counting down the days till the 27th! IP: Logged |

I have a Pisces Moon, perhaps this Moon in Pisces hass had its affect?-I went over 50 days w/o partying hardcore or smoking any pot... only to give in last Friday the 9th... didn't really bother me either... The week had been extremely frustrating and I really needed a new take/out-of-box perspective of my life Happy with relaxing right now... IP: Logged |

trillian -- job search so-so, but my name has been submitted on a bid for a 3-year contract as an editor/copywriter on the project, and I'll know the results in October. That would be great -- a longer contract so I can plan, that is also flexible enough to permit voicework gigs, which have been my bread-and-butter over the past years. Although lately it's been more like RyeCrisp and water! Freelancers! Other than that, things are pretty good. Thanks for asking. Hey, how about I meet you over in the Thyroid thread for comparisons soon -- I hope that a positive change comes soon for ya.LL, guess the full Moon effect depends on its degree in Pisces compared to your Moon position... I think it's in the last decan of Pisces right now. Maybe the waxing Moon passed over yours on the 9th. Good on yer for your 50 days! Changing a lifestyle is a process, not a life sentence, and we have to focus on our successes like you are. Lunar IP: Logged |

Ah well.. jupiters in a reasonable place for me right now (4th/Virgo) although the same can't be said for urinus (10th/Aqua-pisces)... we shall see anyways. IP: Logged |

Wishing happy job hunting for both Lunargirl and N_wEvil...things will be brighter after the end of the month! I guarantee it! Interesting, LG, that you do voice work, because I do too. LL, sometimes, it'd damn good to unwind with a good round of partying. True that some people have addiction problems...but it sounds like you just had some fun for yourself. IP: Logged |

This full moon is awful! I feel really great, confident, and have been having lots of clarity - strange dreams though, but everyone around me is going CRAZY!!!!!! and I'm trying to keep myself from being sucked into their stuff. A friend's boyfriend severly injured his hand (he's a Pisces) and Thursday there was a major problem with a co-worker and a new person that had people crying and spreading terrible gossip. I was asked to help the new person on Friday and I decided to be neutral, professional, and do simply what I was asked to do - help her out. She kept complaining about the other person and questioning me about her motives. I kept redirecting her to express her concerns to the coworker she had problems with or to our boss (several times), She just couldn't get it and I feel if she is now making me out to "get her". She's created a whole drama around the situation and I refuse to take other people's problems on. It's an ugly situation which I don't know how it will be resolved. I have to keep reminding myself this is a job. This is not my issue. I am centered and things are going well in my life. Breathe in and breathe out. Moon in Aries where are you? Aries Oh no! Moon in Taurus where are you?IP: Logged |
