Thank you for the warm welcome! Minerva was the Roman Goddess of wisdom, war, and crafts. Once again I'd like to say how happy I am to be here. Linda Goodman has been a huge influence in my life, her words & wisdom have helped me through some very difficult times, she was truly an amazing woman. It seems you all are here to carry on her legacy, I look forward to getting to know you all.IP: Logged |

Welcome!"Minerva" was Jupiter's wife, as well (to the Greeks she was Hera and he was Zeus). Nice to have you here. Lunargirl IP: Logged |

Welcome Minerva!Athena...wasn't that a song by The Who? jk...I mean, it was a song by the Who, but of course in reference to the Greek Goddess... Athena was born of Zeus, she came out of him when his head was chopped off. Yup. And she was fully armed. http://homepage.mac.com/cparada/GML/Athena.html IP: Logged |

Welcome! Strangely enough, last night I had a dream and the name "Minerva" was spoken to me. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Hi Minerva-welcome! When Zeus' head was cut open Athena stood, fully grown. Hence her being the goddess of wisdom. Gosh, I always loved mythology. Anyway, nice to meet you. IP: Logged |

Probably just one of those coinquidinks. I'm thinking the legend of Minerva is supposed to teach me something. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
