I can barely believe it, but he died last night on the set of "8 Simple Rules"! He was only 54. Had a fatal heart attack, and was gone in minutes. Goes to show, you never know when your number is up.

I just can't believe it.

Jonh Ritter made me laugh so hard. His comedy was so outright fun! Three`s Company was the ultimate in wackyness & his prat falls were the so well timed.

54, unbelievable A sad day.

He was a fantastic actor. I enjoyed his comedy on Three's a Company.

How sad, indeed. He did an amazing job on Simple Rules, so full of life.

I liked him very much too...especially when we could really see the fine actor in him, for instance his role as the preacher on "The Waltons," or the dollar store manager in "Slingblade."
*sigh*

Things do sometimes seem to happen in 3's, don't they? It was Warren Zevon earlier this week.

I can't believe it either; I liked him so much! Just read that he died on his little girl's 5th BD, today is is wife's, and next Wednesday would have been his 55th BD. How horrible.

What?? Warren "Bring Lawyers, Guns and Money" Zevon is gone too??

Frack. Where have I been, to keep missing this news... under a rock I guess, or else just focused on positivity with my eyes glazed over...

It's like that with artists... they bring us so much, they feel familiar to us.

Yup, Lunargirl, no more "Werewolves of London." You may have already known he was battling inoperable leukimia for over a year, and Sunday he passed away.

I just heard the news and it came as a shock.

I've watched reruns of Three's Company.

I was really shocked too. I always liked John Ritter. I did hear that his wife died a few months ago and that they'd been married for decades. So it's tragic but sort of in a beautiful way. He dies shortly after his wife of a broken heart.

Oops Harpyr -- the articles I saw said Amy Yasbeck, his wife since 1999, was at his side when he died. His former wife and he divorced, but she is also alive.

I think you must mean Johnny Cash's wife?

Oh how I adored him, I used to have a bit of a crush on him *blushes* It is just now sinking in that he really is gone and he will be sorely missed...
