I was thinking about how some people seem to have 'disappeared.' So I thought we could start a thread for those knowflakes and let them know we miss them.  Just a few off the top of my head that I miss seeing around- jjjax, ice mists, moonshadow, mindreader, Rainbow...where y'all at? (No, I'm a Yankee, I don't really say "y'all") Apologies for not getting everyone's name-it's early and I'm still waking up. IP: Logged |

Didn`t you miss me ? I`ve been awol without internet service. Lordy, the angst of being deprived of Lindaland has been cruel & unusual punishment for me Mars ol retro buddy Said they took a power surge & knocked out a T 3 connection or router; whatever, it sucked. How sweet! And I've missed you all as well!! I had to take a leave of absence from work to go live with my parents in order to care for my father who was terminally ill with lung/brain cancer. That was about a month ago, and they don't have a computer. My dad passed away on October 7th and that night my mother became seriously ill and we rushed her to the ER. She was admitted for numerous things but then she flatlined the next morning, code blue right as I was getting on the elevator of the hospital. She was revived and has done REMARKABLY well all things considered. She is still in the critical care unit, because she had an aneyrism in her abdomen...lots of bad stuff...But...here is the odd thing about all of this....I am not grieving for my dad...because he was SOOO ready to be with the Lord...I sat and read the Bible to him and sang hymns from a songbook, I told him I was going to sing him into Heaven...and I feel that I did. He saw Heaven and God allowed him to tell me a bit about it...I will start a new thread about it when I have more time...my mother also "talked" to dad for 2 hours right before she coded...then when she woke up, she told us that the angels had come for her, but then God touched her and sent her back to us... Got chills yet? I do. And this whole circumstance has thrown my life around 360 degrees...I see things so differently now...so much for the better...and I celebrate my dad being in Heaven with his precious Lord Jesus...
