Hello everyoneToday I bought ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND as it is one of my favorite childhood story.
I cant wait begin the adventures again. If any of you have read and purchased LINDA GOODMAN'S SUN SIGNS, you will find that the extracts at the beginning of each characteristics is taken from Lewis Carroll, the author of ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND. I want to know why Linda took the extracts from Lewis Caroll's work? IP: Logged |

She also took parts of J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan to her book "Love Signs",I like the fact that most of the time,Peter was reflected of Leo and of course,Scorpio had to be the part of Cap't Crook! Oh well,I've been blamed for lesser reasons.IP: Logged |

Really? I hadn't noticed. I did notice that she took phrases/conversations from the book in order to form a literary point that referred specifically to what she was trying to say about the subjects.
For instance- Aries woman/Aquarius man~
"Then he nearly cried;but it struck him how indignant she would be if he laughed instead. So he laughed a haughty laugh, and fell asleep in the middle of it."
Obviously that makes sense when applied to these two signs. I think she's brilliant! I am also a scorpio, but hadn't noticed her referring to our sign in a derogatory way.  IP: Logged |

I don't think that the point that she was making,Pixie,was centered to show the world that we Eagles are in general mean in anyway by using those characters the way she did. I believe that she was more interested in the way the attitudes were brought about in those books and would reflect the simular qualities that the signs may hold to them. Hook was more or less just a "prop" to her examples of the Scorpio intellect and Peter showed more of the youthful side of the Lions. I think in so many ways however,is the reason why Scorpios are so much into using they're PCs,ya got to fess up,deep down inside I believe that we Eagles fancy the fact that our computers are like our ships and we're the "Head of the Helm",the programs are crew members,The Internet is our sea,the websites are islands and of coarse,the Moderators are the inhabitants and we just visit as many far away lands and like to meet different people at a large scale with just one "click"! And just like anything else,we got to avoid the pirates at sea and hostile cannibals that reside in different websites! 
At lease,that's how I like to see myself!
