Hi to all I came across this site while looking up skulls... http://www.tobew.com/side_html/skully.htm It says that the end of the world is going to be in Dec. 2013. You have to read the whole skully entry, it is toward the end... But please let me know what you all think? Mary IP: Logged |

Very interesting. I looked through as much of the material as I had time for. Some was actually quite accurate. Several crystal skulls have been discovered over the past centuries (12, I think, but I might be mistaken.) Never in my studies of History and Archaeology have I found any suitable explanations for their creation or purpose. I'll check into it more. As to the end of the world being in December of 2013 (or 2012, as many believe), well, that is really kind of a misnomer. Unless the planet Earth actually disintegrates, which seems fairly unlikely, "the end" would be much better described as "the change". Life, cultures, species, etc change all the time. That is known for sure. If you found a Neandertal or an Australopithicine and could transport them to, say, New York, and then back to their own culture, they would convey by whatever means they had at their disposal the message that the world, as their people knew it, would come to an end and something strange and alien would take its place. Change happens constantly in small increments and suddenly in large increments (comet strike, etc.). One thing is for sure, today will only last for one spin of the planet. As someone once said, the future and the past are mental concepts, either memory or fantasy. The greatest Gift we have is NOW. That's why they call it the Present. And if time is an illusion and everything is happening NOW, well then the change has already happened and there is no sense stressing over it. What did you think of the information in the website, Mary?IP: Logged |

FishKitten, I thought it was a wonderful story, I do believe that all things are possible. It took me a couple of days to read it..... Between my daily schedule. I do think that some of the communication is possible, but not all of it....I think that Some things we dupe ours-elves into believing. Or, what we get out of our inner s-elves can be mis-understood all-together.... I do agree with you on the end... Why sweat the small stuff, so to speak?? If anything is going to happen, we can't stop it so why worry? I did think it was a good read, nun-the-less. And the pics were really cool. I don't know about the waves though(energy pics), I think those might be computer grafics or something?? I just have this thing...Believe None of what you hear, and half of what you see.... Only, the thing is that in this day and age, it is hard to believe "what you see"....And I want one(Skull)!!!!!! I think it would look great on my dinning table. IP: Logged |

Good one Fishkitten, I agree with living in the Now and it hit me once I started reading this thread that living in the now is a present. I always say "Live in the now and you have won", well when I remember it of course! YousayIP: Logged |

I think it is a wonderful story, too, Mary. The fellow David writes in an interesting way. I don't necessarily think that everything he says is true for me, but if it is his reality, he must having a fascinating time. Sounds like his whole life has been pretty unusual. But I like the part of buying an old trunk and finding a fabulous treasure inside that expains all the mysteries of the universe. I should go to more thrift shops. He is also at least partially correct in his description of initiation rites. Only. it doesn't have to be "fear for you life" trauma that opens the portal to other vibrations. Shamans (and others) have been reaching ecstatic states through many paths over thousands and thousands of years. Its simply about slipping out of concern for the physical. You don't really have to be near death to accomplish that. It can be part of meditation if you want it to be. I want a crystal skull for my dining table, too, so if you discover a discount skull outlet, let em know! Hey Yousay...I like that quote. Don't you think its kind of funny that NOW=WON. So if you live in the now, you have won AND If you live in the now, you have now. I think that is deep, because if you have NOW, you have everything. Cool. IP: Logged | |
