Help, I have a Scorpio birthday coming up and I haven't the faintest clue what to do!

I usually like to put gufts together that have significance (i.e. relating to a private joke or something along those lines).

Any ideas? Or even just any fun stories about giving according to sign?

(This might even be helpful for some upcoming holidays)

Thanks!

I am making a gift right now for an 80 year old lady down the street (I'll call her Belle). I secretly e-mailed her daughter and got her to send me one piece of old clothing from each of Belle's kids and grandkids...something they once loved and wore a lot. I cut the clothes into 12 inch squares and am making them into a quilt for Belle to use when she watches TV. The idea is that when each member of her family comes to visit, they can point to their patch and say, "I loved that shirt so much. I wore it that time I went to ....". I think Belle will like it.

For Scorpios...I have had several good Scorpio friends and they always like gifts with a story. Once I gave a Scorp male friend a small brass unicorn. I told him that its name was Oberon and every time it ran into the waves, it came back out refreshed and renewed, like starting life over anytime it chose and remaining forever young. I said that as long as he thought of Oberon when he ran through the waves, he would always have a source of renewal. Pluto people love that kind of thing.

hi oxy,

i have an old libra friend that liked to do that too, give gifts that relate to private jokes.

is there anything your friend researches? adding something to it is a nice touch. or may be give a present to help them start on something they have talked about doing someday. a virgo friend gave me my first set of tarot cards.

my pisces mum likes it when i give her my art work. so this year i'm doing an oil painting of a photograph taken of her when she was 16.

just random thoughts

my scorp mum's bday is on sunday (the 26th). i just went with her and she picked out some earrings she liked. i used to make her things, especially in wood shop, but i don't think she appreciated those as much. my mother is very picky(that's my job, virgo here!) sigh, well at least my virgo stepdad still has stuff i made him when i was like 8. geez, what DO you get a scorp? is i just my mom???
