I'm begging all those who are able to send some lite to those in the areas affected by the raging wildfires...Send your prayers that this horrible disaster will soon be over.
I'm especially concerned since we have very dear family friends that just moved out near Denver/Boulder, CO area, and they are telling us that they can smell smoke, and that fires are reported to be quite near their home...I'm so very worried about my "soul sister" Tara, and "special Gemini" Tony, as this them, along with their family living there.

It said in the newspaper today that the fires were under control or over, but all the damage is done. There's been some very emotional reporting on the topic.

Light.

Hundreds of firefighters and all the planes we can spare are on the way from BC (even though on the news, Gray Davis said they were coming from Alberta). Hang in there, California!

Sorry, what I said was premature. All our firemen are down there helping.

The other day in Old Testament, we got on the subject of Smiting and someone commented that the Apocalypse was starting in southern California [cue pathetic laughter]. This definately has not been a good year for natural disasters-- first the hurricane on the East Coast, now this.

I'm about to move to Cal myself. But all paperwork delayed my move.

Lucky for me, because the farmhouse we're thinking of buying burned down to the ground!

This is the third time in less than a year I'm avoiding an accident without knowing it in advance. This summer I almost get run down by a maniac in a car. In the last minute, I change my mind and never get off the subway...

Now, I feel so sorry for all thoose who have lost their homes, their loved ones and for all poor animals in the area.
I'm sending my prayers to all thoose, humans and animals.

Love,
Scorpiogirl
