What are peoples thoughts on the latest Michael Jackson events? I guess we will all know more soon enough.

I`ll let the story unravel before I offer an onion. Either way, it`s a horrible deed or accusation

As always, juniperb has chosen to walk a higher path.

Personally, I don't have a very high opinion of the man. You can read the deposition of the child who accused him ten years ago, and whose family settled out of court for huge sums of money, online at The Smoking Gun. It gives you a lot of food for thought.

What I'll add is...if someone accused me of something so awful, I would spend every penny I have defending my innocence. I would never pay off my accuser.

But I too will watch this unfold, with as open a mind as possible. Which will not be easy.

The latest news alleges that these charges stemmed from the child's admissions/concerns during sessions with his psychologist. It's the psychologist who then went to the authorities...more to come, I'm sure.

This is one of the saddest things I've ever had to hear. Whatever the truth may be, his career and reputation have been completely destroyed. It's like he is a walking joke, and there is nothing he could do or say that will help him now. Those criminal investigators want to annihilate everything about him. They want to rip him into shreds. No one can listen to his songs without thinking about it anymore. Only God knows whats going to happen now.

I am tired of it and he gets no more sympathy from me. The MJ case hits so close to home because I have a half-brother who is almost exactly like him, except he likes little girls, not boys. He and MJ both creep me out. I hope justice is served.
