Kind of a strange topic, I know, but I have been thinking of it lately. I know, in any situation, we learn things of people... and there are so many different kinds of people in the world.. We are all so unique, yet similar in many ways.
So my question is... do you associate a feeling/ vibe/ famous person with any of the knowflakes posting here? Does anyone remind you of someone in your immediate life? Or even a feeling that is difficult to define? Like from a certain era? I hope you understand what I am asking... I am interested to learn. Thank you for your candor!!!

I certainly don't mean in a BAD way!!!
Like, for instance, Corri referred to herself as Dori from Finding Nemo... I mean, does anyone here remind you, or give you a feeling or a vibe that is familiar to you?

Me me Amy pick me

Famous, no not really. I do get specific vibes from special people here. Especially the Aries as they are general folks I haven`t bothered to get to know in the world . LL has really helped me see deeper into people and old stereotypes have fallen by the wayside.

There`s some exceptionally intutitive, loving vibes here

I know what you mean, Juni, about seeing deeper sides to the signs here than our daily interaction. It is deeper in general, we see so much passion and interests here, compared to the casual interaction in daily life. I have also learned more about Aquarians. My life here only involves them on a superficial level, so I didn't have much of a point of reference than just what I'd read. I know alot of them, but not on a personal level more than acquaintance... their motivations, their basic humanity. Being here has enriched my knowledge of this particular sun sign. I am glad for that.

Well pixel, I don't associate anyone here with anyone famous, but I do get specific vibes from different individuals. Some people have such strong personalities, that something elemental about them just springs forth in their posts.

Some here have very strong personalities, but are also very mysterious and intriguing, and suprise me sometimes with their posts. I'd say Aphrodite is an example.

But yeah, I understand what you're asking, and yeah, I can dig the vibes of certain peeps here. Groovy, baby.

I have an idea of everyone's personality here, mostly based on their name and what they have said. I guess that is kind of a vibe... but I don't think I've ever gotten anything more specific.

I get vibes from most posts, sometimes the same person is giving off a different vibe from one post to the next. I guess that's just moods.

Over time, I get an overall sense of whethor a person is someone I would enjoy in the real world, and be buds with or not. There's a few peeps here that I would love to know in the real world.

I just think the concept is neat. Body language is such a huge factor in daily interaction, so I am amazed that one can intuit such a lot about people based upon writing... no cursive, not much expression, other than greamlins etc.. Usual punctuation, creativity expressed. But you can pick up so much energy from people here and in different forums in general. That energy can be expressed in unique ways is intriguing to me. I almost feel 'colours' or 'textures' when associating with people, or reading them, and it is hard to express, other than a general feeling when thinking about, or talking to a person... I was curious if anyone else knew what I meant... I didn't necessarily mean in a famous way, but I had a hard time expressing the question I wanted to ask. Such complex layers in the quilt of life. Oooooohh, deep! Change one letter, and that's Guilt of life.. an entirely different meaning!

Like for whatever reason, when vibrating to someone, I will think of something comforting, without noticing, and then I notice, and am thrown... I wonder where that came from... like having the same comforting dream, without realizing it immediately. Am I a total wack-o, who can't express herself today?
( It was a rhetorical question!)

I get what you're saying.
For instance, I get extremely "hard" vibes from many of the posts in Global Unity (which is why I don't post there); outside of there, some sometimes send-off generally un...un-something vibes which turn me away, others welcoming and caring. Some who are cordial have a brittle, touchy overcoat, others are flippant, some arrogant, some confused, some rambling mostly because they have so much that they want to get out...most seem nice enough, though - although you can tell that each of us has a tender spot that shouldn't be trod upon. A little time usually tells exactly where it lie.

What kinda vibe do you think you send out, pixelp?
I figure that I send out an often rather naive, goofy, and playful one, although most likely often underlain with a melancholy and overlain with a bit of seeming self-centeredness (not spiteful, but in the manner of kitten who delights in its own silly discoveries).

I know what you mean, I think, pixel The vibes I get from people here are generally much better than a lot of other boards I go to but there are some that are just brick walls.

but I'm certain there are a couple that I have known from other times

Proxieme~
You are actually one of the special ones I intuit. When reading your descriptions of you and Jason getting together, I was so drawn into your world and feeling exactly what you meant, and then reading subsequent posts, I feel as if I shared a part of that with you. You give off such astoundingly positive vibes, that I feel like a better person for having shared in that with you... your generosity in posting something so moving. Every experience you go through is moving to me, and hey, if I can live vicariously through you, then I am a happy camper, so keep posting your triumphs and failings. You are one of the special ones in life and I am happy to know you here. (could be the water similarity, but I really resonate with your words, you know?)
I am happy for you that yor life has been enriched so deeply, and I can't wait for you to experience these motherhood/marriage things... and anything I can do to help on this side of the world, you just ask.
Oh, and I wouldn't call you self centred, you post about what you know and your experiences, and they come from a perspective known as yourself, and I , for one, am happy to hear them.... I love your playfulness too, it is refreshing! ( I'm sorry, I am drunk right now, went out with the hubby tonight, got home astoundingly late, quite sentimental!)
As far a the vibe I send out? Probably, I hope, the same as I always do, in my regular life. I am nice, I enjoy helping people...I am a little self centred, I like to flirt, I defend people and myself a bit too much, I can be a pain in the ass, but all and all, I think I am pretty positive. What do you think?

Somebody mentioned his book "Illusions" somewhere here recently. I think Juniperb. Anyway, Daf reminds of Richard Bach. Just something about his manner of speech and thought process. pixelpixie, I get a "gee, I wish she was that cool, older sister I never had. Brazen, audacious, much cooler than I'll ever be" feeling about you. Actually, I think you're younger than me, but you know what I mean.

Aphrodite and Aselzion intimidate me into a mute state. I don't think they mean to, but they do. Total respect for them. Just "nope". How can you not love that? I'm floored.

And I don't think you're wacko.

Oh, TINK, Thanks, darlin', thats a really sweet thing to say!!! I think you're the sh!t too. (That's actually a good thing....it's what the kids are saying nowadays!) Older/younger... who cares!
I know what you mean, sometimes things are said here, and I would love to comment, even just with that smiley face jawdrop guy.... But I feel absolutely unqualified to even post on the same thread.... I feel like Wayne and Garth..."I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy!"

I think that's why I don't post that often anymore. So many people here are just leaps and bounds above me I feel like an idiot or I feel like I can't possibly contribute as well as other people. So I stay quiet.

I understand, as I said up there, the reverence we can feel for other's contributions, but, if you don't utter a peep, maybe someone will miss out on some of the amazing things you have to contribute too? We aren't always "on", but, damn, when we are, it's something to behold!!! I remember many posts of yours, I feel the vibes you send out as positive ones, you are artistic and free spirited and have many valuable ways that you contribute here. I would love to hear more from you! {{{{{{{HUG}}}}}}}}} In fact, when I see a post from you, I always read it thoroughly and with intent.

And more than that, I just like getting to know you.

The love and lite each Knowflake shares is a gem shining bright . Just the presence of your energies raises the vibration of Lindaland and makes it a warm wonderful place to share, care and feel.

Each one has a very special place here and many times simply seeing the names posted with a gremlin brings a warm smile, a fond memory of a past post or just to soak up the warmth emiting from it.

Always feel the warmth and welcome vibes All S are what makes LL a home to us

"the s!it" huh? Now see, that's just what I mean. I had no idea that's what the kids were saying. You're a hip chick pixie.

LindaLand truly is a wonderful place. So much interesting info and opinions. I can't quite say I feel at home - I never do - but this is the only place I post now. That says a lot I suppose.

Trillian ~ have you read "One"? Never heard anything about Richard and Leslie after that. Wonder what happened?
By the way very nice, calm, gounded yet spiritual, Earth Mother-type vibes from you.

Juniperb ~ here on my little asteroid, one of the most complimentery things I can say about someone is, "I'd really like to get a look at their bookcase". Based on some of the things you've said, I sure wouldn't mind getting a peek at yours.

(ra's too. Now there is an intriguing fellow.)

I love you, man!!

You're not getting my Budwiser

I love that commercial.

But, I do.

Juni, you're a very evolved, caring, intellegent, humorous, and humble lady...who never takes anything personally or offensively, you rise above pettiness without effort. Infact, you're naturally above it, no need to rise. And I bet you're more fun that a barrel of monkeys in real life too.

Pixie, you're fiercly caring, sentimental, very sociable, very funny in a naughty sort of way, emotionally insightful, and quite proud. Maybe a tad defensive at times, not just for yourself, but for anyone you've decided you like. I love that.

Aphrodite, you're an idealist, yet a hopeless romantic, and smart as heck too! You're profoundly creative and deep, which makes you seem obscure at times, it's just that you swim in deeper waters than some of us. I sense that you're quite sensitive, yet your certainly not afraid of a challenge. That's called courage.

Trillian, your just brilliant. You're an insightful and powerful communicator. You're open minded and non-judgemental, yet you're very principled yourself. You've been through heck and back, and rather than it making you bitter, it's made you a well of compassion. You're a warrier angel.

Prox, you know how I feel about you. I can't even start or I'll be gushing and embarressing that Aqua moon of yours. You rock. I feel like I know you, like you're a personal friend or something. Maybe someday we'll meet for real. I'd like that.

WofA, I don't think you post enough, I wish you would share more, and not be so hard on yourself, but I can tell you're a creative and loving soul who would probably do anything for those you care about. You're fiesty and fun too.

I could just go on forever, I love all you guys! I'm so happy to have found Linda-Land...I'm sure she reads every word in here and watches over us in our personal lives. When you're free from this 3 dimensional cage known as life on earth, you can be several places at once, and I'm sure Linda is pretty high up the ranks on God's totem pole.

Hi, Linda!

Sheesh. I'm in an odd one today. Aqua moon is bouncing up and down over all this sentimentality.

Pidaua...where the heck is she lately?? Yeah, she's one of my faves. She's fun, fiesty, interesting, intelligent, highly principled, and just a groovy lady. Certainly not afraid to speak her mind, whethor you like it or not!

Incidently, I noticed that Pid posted some new pics at the LL-joints site, one of which is of a baby horse, and there's an unmistakable orb of light in that picture, which is what ghost hunters typically get on film when investigating hauntings. That's how spirits or ghosts appear in pictures quite often. I wonder.....hmmm. Check it out!
