I can't believe it! SNOW! Glorious SNOW! Flurries falling all around! So soft, so white, such a beautiful sight! I can't believe it! SNOW!

Forgive my overly enthusiastic admiration if you must, but I have never ever seen it before. I feel blessed and inspired and full of magic! (I'm originally from FL, and I just moved to a little town in NC. It's my first time experiencing the seasons.) Our Earth is such a marvellous place! I had to share this moment with people I knew could relate.

Aww..neat! Snow is such a marvelous phenomenon, and I'm happy for you that you finally have the pleasure of experiencing it

PS. I am a dedicated addict of eating snow, you know the clean kind that falls on the bushes or other uncontaminated spots...you should try it...snow has this amazingly cool texture if you eat it when it's fluffy.... Ahhh.....simple pleasures....

I don't mind snow, it's the freezing temperatures and people not knowing how to drive on wet/icy roads that comes with it that I don't like. I think it would be great if we could have snow, and still have it be reasonably warm out say, snow on the ground that doesn't melt and 45-50 degree weather, I could get used to that

Amen/Awomen Lioneye... I`m just yearning for temps ABOVE zero so my gates will swing open, my living room windows will defrost and I can get the llamas out of the barn.

The 18 inchs of snow this week is ok; pleeesee just let the sun shine

Thanks everyone!
Alas, it appears that yesterday was the only snow day for my part of town. Ah well ...

I didn't taste any snow, though now I wish I had. One day I will.

I did, however, make a mini snow woman and put her in my freezer. My husband and I giggled like school kids over her.

I wish I'd had a camera on hand, though. <sigh>

And, Lanny, I agree. This place is beautiful! Coming from asphalt and concrete and palm trees, it's so wonderful to see all kinds of plant life and breath fresher air. As I walk or drive around, I can't help but smile at all the beauty.

I hear you Eleanore! I'm a born and bred New Englander and I'll never get tired of the stuff. There is something magical about those little flakes. No two alike.

Hi Tink, I have a even dozen of them 3 males, 3 youngsters and 6 llamamamas. I have an eldery llamamama that is really suffering from this deep freeze. At night I wrap her middle in flannel blankest. The belly is where they lose their heat.

The rest are enjoying the extra feed & herd check attention

Lucky!!! I love, love, love llamas. Have absolutely no idea why. They sure are cute though aren't they? Where did you learn to take care of them? They remind me of Peru. Anything about Peru gets me. I'm sure I was good buddies with llamas in another life. Goats too. I have vague happy memories of goat herding and Greece. Weird. Anyway, I know envy is a sin, but I'm wallowing in right now.

What a happy little place your home must be.

I love, love, love them too. They are wonderful companions My love comes from a past life as well. I became aware of the fact during a Reiki healing. I`ve loved them since I was a young pup and the Pull me Push me two headed llamas came on the scene
