oh, Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell? I'll have both please!! Smething about Eddie'[s voice though.. makes me quake and quiver.. I am a total groupie.
One of my most beautiful, soul connected friends has most of the same personal planetary placements as John Lennon. The only difference is ascendent.. John Lennon has Aries, while my friend has Virgo rising.

Well since juniperb brought up southern, I'll bring up bluesy, some of the Grateful Dead's songs are sooooooo great, like the bluesy ones that Bob Wier sang on! OH YEAH!

Fajita, you're a Dead Head! A friend of mine used to have a Dead Head sticker on his Cadillac, in defiance of the Don Henley song.

Yeah, pixel, there is definitely something special about Eddie Vedder. He has a gentle soul...

Ariesrocks! - Whatsamatta wit Cancers???
They're so cuddly

I can dig alot of kinds of rock, depending on my mood. What grates me one minute, I'll go for the next...except most 80s rock (read: big hair rock; I still like U2, the Ramones...). Most 80s rock...yick. That includes the majority of Aerosmith's stuff - he always sounds like his b*lls are in a vice or someone's pulling off his ears.
I can pretty much always groove to the Dave Matthews Band, though.
Yeah, I'm a big hippie.
I love the endless riffs that the band goes off on on their live stuff.
And, yes, I know that his voice is just as...um...distinctive as Tyler's, but eh - that's the great thing about subjectivity

I had a very bad experience with a cancer, I'm sorry if I judge everybody after him, I didn't mean to. I'm trying to be tolerant..

No worries; I had a bad experience with a Gemini guy, and I still cringe when I see that influence in a male's chart.
And it makes sense, too, y'know?
That's the square immediately after my Sun (Pisces) and Cancer's the square immediately after yours.

Mmmm...Crash
I think that I'm going to put that in right now...

...Touch your lips just so I know
In your eyes, love, it glows so
I'm bare boned and crazy for you
When you come crash
into me, baby
And I come into you
In a boys dream
In a boys dream

If I've gone overboard
Then I'm begging you
to forgive me
in my haste
When I'm holding you so girl
close to me...

HEY BOYS! There's a primer on how to make a girl melt.

So true, Ariesrocks. It's an amazing song...have you ever heard it?

Think I'll listen to it tonight and allow myself to be a little weepy.

Know what? I think all the words to it deserve to be posted here. So here goes...

Crash

You've got your ball
you've got your chain
Tied to me tight tie me up again
Who's got their claws
in you my friend
Into your heart I'll beat again
Sweet like candy to my soul
Sweet you rock
and sweet you roll
Lost for you I'm so lost for you
You come crash into me
And I come into you,
I come into you
In a boys dream
In a boys dream

Touch your lips just so I know
In your eyes, love, it glows so
I'm bare-boned and crazy for you
When you come crash
into me, baby
And I come into you
In a boys dream
In a boys dream
If I've gone overboard
Then I'm begging you
to forgive me
In my haste
When I'm holding you so girl...
close to me

Oh and you come crash
into me, baby
And I come into you
Hike up your skirt a little more
and show the world to me
Hike up your skirt a little more
and show your world to me
In a boys dream... In a boys dream

Oh I watch you there
through the window
And I stare at you
You wear nothing but you
wear it so well
Tied up and twisted,
the way I'd like to be
For you, for me, come crash
into me

yes dead head baby!

Can I just say in Aerosmith's defense that their best music IMHO (I'm Aquarius though, so I am right, LOL) was produced in the 70's.....

I love the eagles and don hentley! I get that nostalgic feeling like when I watch golden girls

boy am I glad to know I'm not the only one that turns into gushy squishy swooning mass of goo everytime I hear Crash.

I once wrote 'sweet like candy to my soul, sweet you rock, sweet you roll' on a bathroom stall wall of my favorite bar cause it just so perfectly described my feelings for a special someone I'd met there. (yeah yeah I'm not usually a vandal, it's just one of those types of bathrooms where everyone writes bathroom wall poetry of one kind or another. )

Now about Queen..

Everyone always says they love Freddy. Don't get me wrong. I adore Freddy, he was simply an amazing vocalist and showman and charismatic soul.

However, I must step forth and say that the member of Queen whom I did the most swooning over during the 'Queenfests' my girlfriends and I had wherein we innundated ourselves with music videos and documentaries.. was most definetly Roger Taylor, the drummer.

Most especially 1970's Roger when he wore those open shirts and had that bushy head o hair, true to Leo form.

Not to mention Brian May.. A most magnificent guitarist. (I named my own guitar May, after him )

*sigh
Bri is one sexy fellow himself.

Okay.. I just wanted to share some of what I love most about Queen. Clearly, their 1970s stuff is some of my favorite. Anyone heard their "Live at the BBC" album? It's my favorite.
