Topic: Last night's weed.

I need your advice about something.Last night I smoked weed(marijuana,dope whatever you want to call it)and it hit me bad.I haven't smoked the stuff for about a year.
Anyway, what I want to tell is that after I smoked it, I went to lie on my bed.While I was lying there, I felt as if I was talking to a higher being. What we were talking abiout concerned my future but while we were talking,I kept saying to myself it is all in my head.What we talked about in my future kinda scared me.
When I woke up this morning, I remembered most of what was said,and it shook me to the core.
Was it just the weed
or
was there something else to it?

That is entirely up to you.. Mystics, as well as some cultures do use marijuana and other 'drugs' for meditative purposes.. It takes you to a different place (which is why it is so seductive for escapism purposes) It opens doors somewhat that you weren't aware of. I know even people who are suffering from chronic illnesses will partake of marijuana to soothe their pain and keep them hungry.... honestly,,,, the munchies are good for something!!!
I personally think that hemp, or cannabis is a natural gift, and whether I do it or not, I am open to it. I think it has many uses that should be exploited and explored, not shoved aside in lieu of the negative connotations that have followed it around with the whole war on drugs thing. It is a soft drug... isn't physically addictive and has many uses.. in fact, hemp alone is an amazing natural resource..... it is rich in essential fatty acids....which is necessary for our cell growth/function, but we don't create it in our bodies. It has been used for centuries in rope and a million other uses... I even heard they planted it near the chernobyl site, in order to detoxify the ground. It renourishes dead soil.. can be grown in any climate with much success.
Anyway, that is my rant.
But.... if the 'being' you were talking to gave you an uneasy feeling, that is what you should pay attention to. In our society, if it doesn't fit into a compartment, we dismiss it.. but who knows what type of beings there are in the world. So you were open to a frequency that was normally closed... it could have been paranoia.. as it had been a while since you had 'taken the green herb'.... the options are endless.. write down what you heard .. any latent or dominant feelings associated with it. Put the date on it, and look back to reflect. try to figure out what you are supposed to glean from this.. it could've been your spirit guide, who knows.
Let me know.. you can even post the things that you received, and let some of us take a crack at it. (Everyone's a psychologist!) If you are comfortable.....

Hi Pixelpixie.Thanx alot for your advice. When I was speaking to this 'being'i did not feel uncomfortable in its presence.
At first I thought it was God(please dont get cross or anything like that,but i honestly thought it was Him).
But then afterwards I dismissed my 'belief'.
Maybe you are right-it might have been my spiritual guide.
I will take your advise and see what will happen.

Hi pixelpixie.it is me again.
I can tell you one thing(the others disscusions are too personal to talk about on the web).
The 'being' I was talking about toldme i will meet Jay Leno one day.He did not tell me why or how.All he said was i will get to meet him.
I sincerely Do hope that I will.
As long as I can remember is that I have always wanted to meet Jay personally.

Well, are you a musician, or an actor or a comedian? Are you a writer, or involved as an agent or something of the like?
Or were you watching Jay Leno, before you drifted off, and your subconscious was clinging to it?
The other things.. if you don't share, that's cool.. but write them down... for real!! As far as what I make of it? I mean, who rrally knows.. maybe you were tapped into a higher power.. God  or a spirit guide..
I actually remember a time, it was long ago.. I was talking to this woman.. an ethereal, beautiful lady that gave me such a sense of peace and oneness ( obviously, hence my nic, I have a thing for fairies, I always have) so whatever I needed to know took the form of that persona for comfort... I remember having the distinct impression we were having a really long converstaion about my life and future, and the things that will unfold. Then What I remember with absolute clarity, is that she said.. "well, your alarm is going to go off soon, and I have to go, but I will visit you again." Then my alarm went off, and I woke up.. with the wierdest impression of infused knowledge, but I didn't know what we'd talked about.. just the impression that it was about my life.
So I too have had strange experiences. I have yet to see her again, although last year, when I couldn't shut my mind off for the nght, I got all these voices, and yes, someone was addressing me, but it was peaceful, not scary.. although a little strange.
By the way.. I don't actively smoke pot myself.. I haven't for a long time.. I wouldn't mind.. it just doesn't fit in the scope of my life right now. ( I am worried about paranoia, but that is a different longer story) I only started drinking this last summer.. I allowed myself to.

I am a poet but i am also studying Journalism.So maybe when I move to United States, I might do an interview with him.I wasn't watching Jay Leno cause his show is only on the weekends here in S.A
I have wriiten down everything I could remember.Maybe in the future I will let you guys know.

When I was smoking one night many years ago, I saw my bedsheet climb out of the laundry basket !
Another time I slipped into a meditation which answered a very important dilemma I was going through. It saved me a lot of heartache !

 I'm sorry- I think you were maybe just high...but I could be wrong!I had a similar experience at 15. It was my birthday and also Marleyfest in Miami. I found a bag on the ground at the fest, of marijuana with red hairs. I smoked through out the whole fest and when I got home. At that point I looked at my Jerry Garcia poster, and he instructed me to smoke another bowl! He spoke to me! Jerry! I guess there is two ways of looking at it. Marijuana is a pyschedelic drug and can produce some odd illusions. Or it does also open doors and tear down some barriers, so maybe you were tapping in. I don't know. Maybe the reason you felt frightened was because of the mild paranoia that people get when they smoke and it's been a while. I just have to disagree with the statement that marijuana is a soft drug. Don't get me wrong, I love the stuff and know lotsa people can be responsible with it and enjoy themselves. However it is noted that in heavy smokers there are withdrawal symptoms. I had them myself when I was 16. People who abruptly stop smoking when they normally smoke constantly day and night will get very irratible and irrational and erratic and angry and aggressive, have headaches and insomnia. Of course this all wouldn't have happened had they not abused it in the first place. I just wanted to point that out. ------------------

Fajita...That sounds like the chronic or something girl. YOu were on some other stuff. You had withdrawal symptoms? I never had irritable withdrawals - and I stayed high.moondreamer, it is very possible that what was going on was real. Marijuana doesn't make you see things or hear things that are not really happening (this is assuming that you were smoking straight pot-not lovely or hydro or something like that).
I used to see a lot of different stuff when I was smoking. When I started smoking a lot, that is when I started hearing (with my concious mind) what spirits were saying sometimes. Now that I don't smoke anymore, I still hear what is being said sometimes because you know once you open a door, it can be difficult to close it on your own. So I agree with Fajita that perhaps you have opened the doors, or perhaps just noticed some doors and walked through them. I also agree with tahariel and think that you should flow with it man,  weed is for the flow. IP: Logged |

Thanx Fajita3 and silverbells for your comments.Fajita-what you said is really quite somethimg-I appreciate your comments. Silverbells-I was smoking straight pot.To me what happened was all too real even though I was high.The whole weekend i just kept on thinking about what happened.
The next morning I remember 95% of what happened when I was high. I spoke to my best friend today about the incident and he said that he has never experienced what I went through.But he said it sounded freaky what happened.
He also said I shouldn't try any more weed.
I am debated whether I should or not.
On the 1 hand, I want to get high again but on the other hand I am not too sure I should in case something bad happens.

When I (and if.I'm always indecisive)smoke weed again,it won't be any time soon.And not with alcohol.On friday i had 2 drinks before smoking it.Maybe that somehow affected me?IP: Logged |

Guess what guys?I smoked more weed last night and it was a total different feeling then i had on Friday night.
After I smoked weed last night,I was calm and happy.I could control my thoughts more easily.Also i put some music on and it was a totally different experience-I felt as if I was in the song myself(literally).
I had no contact from the other side.
I suppose it is normal of what happened last night but what do you guys think? thanks,

Oh man. It was the alcohol! That would do it everytime for me, let me tell you. You probably shouldn't do that again...unless there is a spiritual reason that you come to know that will direct you on that path. Question - Had you eaten before you smoked the last time when you had that experience? Also, did you make sure that there were no stems and seeds in you joint, blunt, whatever? Because stems and seeds can be a horrifying experience, some people don't have a problem with it though.

LOL moondreamer how old are you? Please just be careful! If you knew how much trouble I am in right now, I mean serious trouble- I was in jail and on house arrest to say just a part, and marijuana IS one of my drug possession charges that I am currently involved with the Dept. of Corrections for- no, they are not nice people! I know I take things to an extreme, which is why I had withdrawal symptoms, but silverbells, those symptoms happen with people who smoke a whole lotta weed every day and night for a long time, it's documented, every rehab I have been to knows that it's common among heavy smokers. so obviously most of you will never experience them. I wasn't staying high, I was staying stoned beyond ability to physically smoke anymore, i.e. could not longer use bong, roll blunt.. (yuck, I know, I have issues) (hence my situation) (and if it weren't for my drug problems I would never have had to leave the site so much) (I'm a horrible moderator ) Moondreamer sounds a little inexperienced with the stuff which is why I just extend the warning. However, this problem with the weed has long since been gone, with my teens, I mean I still used to abuse it totally, but I've now got bigger problems that I deal with. Have fun just don't end up like me! But now that you have been warned, please have fun and enjoy I get drug tested so much right now I'm afraid to so much as be around people who get high on anything.. However, if anyone ever feels like the fun part is over, and wants help or advice on where to go for support or just to talk about addiction, I know it on more levels than you would care to know! And I would always be happy to help or offer friendly, non-judgemental advice if you ever feel like you may be getting out of control or dependent. Boy do I put a depressing tone on things! Sorry about that.. ------------------
