I do watch that show. Another guilty pleasure. But I'm not crazy about the exploitation of Hung. He seems so innocent, so naive, of the fun that's being poked at him.

But I certainly wish him well.

My point is that he seems to be oblivious, that he thinks he truly has talent. He seems to be very emotionally immature to me, and I worry that when all this false hoopla is over, when everyone is done capitalizing on him, that he will be damaged.

Juniperb,

The guy with last name Hung sang a Ricky Martin song when he first tried out for American Idol. That's where the "she bangs" comes from.

Anyhow, I'll never forget when he walked into the room he nodded politely to the 3 judges. He always smiles and is very nice and courteous. I agree with what Trillian said. I don't like that he's being made fun of and I don't think he realizes it.

I wish him well too and I hope he is a very successfull graduate of U.C. Berkely with his degree in Engineering.
