That's what they call the Christ movie around here, since it's on track to surpass Greek Wedding as the highest grossing independent movie of all time. I didn't see a thread for it already, so I made this. Anyone see it? It is way bloody. I saw it only as a moviegoer, it did nothing for my "faith", since I'm Wiccan. I guess it was okay, I didn't think it was great, yet it is a marketing miracle. I hear they are going to publish a bible with the movie poster as the cover. That sounds shameless, although that's the way it is with evangelicals...whatever works. I am more interested in the movie coming out called Saved!, about high-jinks in a Christian high school. That looks funny. The Christ movie was so heavy, although I guess Rev. Mel was after an accurate cinematic portrayal of the last 12 hours of his life, so maybe he was successful there. Anyone else see it?

Love,
Carlo
