Topic: How I woke up this morning....

I was sleeping peacefully until I heard a car screeeech to a halt in front of our place and a woman just screaming "oh my god oh my god! OH MY GOD!"I bounced out of bed and couldn't see anything from the window. I thought I heard her or someone else say "They hit the kid! OH MY GOD!" I threw on pants faster than lightening and ran downstairs to see if I had to call 911 or SOMETHING. Vin was still here and he heard the car and some lady scream but I guess not what I heard. I looked outside and there was no one there and no car. Traffic was normal. I don't know WHAT happened but it must not have been that serious. I wanted to go back to sleep but my adrenaline was going so I went downstairs to brush my teeth and while I'm in the bathroom Vin's radio is going. As I'm brushing I could swear I heard that same woman screaming "They just hit him! OH MY GOD! They hit that little boy!" along with other stuff I couldn't catch. I turned off the radio and the light with the fan in the bathroom and I didn't hear anything. ARRRRRRRRRRGH. I'm still all freaked out about it. ------------------

I'm feeling better now  I just don't know where all that came from because, obviously, no little kid was hurt near us this morning. Maybe it was a fragment of a dream or.. I don't know.. something! It IS a beautiful day in SoCal today! IP: Logged |

But Vin heard it too you said. Maybe something did happen, but it was around the corner out of your view, or even in the back alley behind your building or a sidestreet nearby?I had a simular incident happen to me one time as well...I thought I heard a woman's voice yelling "FIRE! FIRE!!" and footsteps running down the stairs (my room was in the basement at my mom's) And I had just gone to bed minutes beforehand so I was (I thought) still wide awake. So, I jumped up out of bed like a shot from a gun and started running up the stairs to check it out...Well, the whole house was quiet, my mom was watching t.v. in bed, and I came barging in asking if she heard it. She thought I was on drugs or something. She hadn't heard a thing. Strange things happen sometimes. IP: Logged |

I know I hear strange things all the time, but sometimes they are actually real. Once a kid by my house got hit by a car and I thought I was imagining it because when I looked out the window everything was fine. It had happened on the corner of my block. I found out later that day. The kid was fine, though, just some cuts and scrapes.I think it's weird that you both heard it, though, unless you both tend to "hear things" alot. Hmm, I guess it could've been anything, really. What does your gut tell you? First instincts are usually right. Hope you're doing well.

Wych, It almost sounds like what I call 'transitionals' (for lack of the proper term). Think of it like this - When someone sees a 'ghost' what they might really be seeing is the imprint of the person who was there eons before. It can work in reverse. What you and Vin heard may not have happened yet in linear time. This sort of thing has happened to me numerous times, usually when it is something traumatic or violent. The energy released from the participants of the accident reverberate forever, forwards and backwards. Since it was sooo loud I would say that if the accident did not happen today it will soon.
Sorry I sound so gloomy, but it was what came to mind when I read this thread. I hope I'm wrong.  LLL
