Last night, I completed the 2nd draft of my novel.

I think it's done. Oh, I'll go back and proof read it, look for errors and sentence structure, things that can be strengthened.

But until I have a professional editor (positive manifesting!), I think I have gone as far as I can.

And...I think it's good.

And what a Labor of Love it has been for me.

Thanks to The Loving Creator of All That Is for this gift, for always being here for me, and for teaching me that positive possibilities are limitless.

(now for the questions) what's it about? how long did it take you? and when do we get to read it?

though i've never done fiction, i'm a non-fiction editor - so if you need an extra set of eyes i'd love to help you maniFEST!

love and light to you,

XB

Thanks everyone. There are so many wonderful souls here, I had to share.

Xelena, it's copyrighted, but I guess I'm still a little careful about 'my baby!' It's a modern love story, with hard choices and some serious karma. I didn't know you were an editor, thank you for your kind offer, I'm delighted! It has taken a year and a half to write.

Thank you all so much.

Congratulations Trillian! Do you ever check out Writers' Digest online? They offer a variety of services, including writing classes and some other stuff. I think some of the writing classes are geared for people who have written a novel length manuscript. In the class, you go over it bit by bit and discuss its strengths and weaknesses. Check out the profiles of the people teaching the classes. Most of them are editors or work in publishing is some way. If you select the right person, you may not only improve your manuscript, but also find someone with great connections in the literary field who, as a function of the class, will read it.

Thank you all so very much for the well-wishes. It means a lot to me, thank you for allowing me to share.

lalalinda, I'll be writing to your son very soon!

Fishkitten, thank you very much for such a valuable suggestion, I will check it out.

When I get back from a beach vacation in early July, I'll start the process of looking for a publisher, and I will not be daunted.

I love you all so much. Thank you.
