TATER PEOPLE Some people never seem motivated to participate, but are just content to watch while others do the work. They are called "Spec Taters." Some people never do anything to help, but are gifted at finding fault with the way others do the work. They are called "Comment Taters." Some people are very bossy and like to tell others what to do, but don't want to soil their own hands. They are called "Dick Taters." Some people are always looking to cause problems by asking others to agree with them. It is too hot or too cold, too sour or too sweet. They are called "Agie Taters." There are those who say they will help, but somehow just never get around to actually doing the promised help. They are called "Hezzie Taters." Some people can put up a front and pretend to be someone they are not. They are called "Emma Taters." Then there are those who love others and do what they say they will. They are always prepared to stop whatever they are doing and lend a helping hand. They bring real sunshine into the lives of others. They are called "Sweet Taters." ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Pixelpixie, Try saying that really quickly over and over. I almost fell off my chair reading it wrongly. Too much wine. I'm a little tonight. Sorry. Gia

This reminds me of a joke my Aqua husband was telling recently (he LOVES awful puns)... Okay, here goes: Once upon a time there were three little girl potatoes. The mother says to the first little girl potato, "Who would you like to marry?" "Well, I think I'd like to marry King Edward," says the first little girl potato. "Very good!" says the mother, then, turning to the second little girl potato, "And who would you like to marry?" "Well, I think I'd like to marry a Jersey Royal," says the second little girl potato. "Very good, very good," says the mother, then, turning to the third little girl potato, "And who would you like to marry?" "I'd like to marry Desmond Lynam," said the third little girl potato. "WHAT???" says the mother. "You can't marry Desmond Lynam. He's a commentator." (Desmond Lynam = British sports commentator) Hahaha! (Ahem!) My husband was telling this to our Aries/Leo clients recently. The Leo wife "got" it immediately. "Oh, God, that's AWFUL!" she groaned. The Aries husband didn't get it at all. "What has Desmond Lynam got to do with potatoes???" he wondered, before being walked gently through the last stages of the joke again... Never mind, I can relate to that... I didn't "get" it first time either!!!IP: Logged |

Had a quick look at some of the posts from around this time last year fondly. It's when I first logged in from Brixton, and changed my name to Sheaa I realised I haven't had laughing session on here in ages, just thought I'd bump it up - some of the old posts are a hoot!------------------ "The best of love, peace of mind and happiness I wish for you." Some people can be relied on whenever you are down. No matter the trouble and regardless of whatever they are going through, you can always count on them to cheer you right back up again. These people are called "Ele-Taters".:slaps knee: I can't get enough of this stuff! IP: Logged |

Some people are not the kind to take things lightly and are serious over-reactors. Perceiving even the slightest bit of personal offense, their finely sharpened scythes appear as if from mid-air and strike a deadly blow. These are called "Decapi-Taters".If I don't get a laugh out of that one, then I'll be quitting this endeavor. lol! IP: Logged |

Oh wait! One more thing! I just re-read the previous one I posted and I thought it would be better if I changed it...Some people can be relied on whenever you are down. No matter the trouble and regardless of whatever they are going through, you can always count on them to cheer you right back up again. These people are called "Levi-Taters". Yeah...that's masses better! *edit No. That's mashes better! IP: Logged |
