Dude, I can't possibly narrow it down.
Yer talkin' to a Fish here.

I'll try

* Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
(because I've had the urge to watch that for a while, but not the means)
* Mars Attacks!
("Don't run! We come in peace!" #BLAST#BLAST#)
* O Brother, Where Art Thou?
(I dinnae care what anyone says, I like it)
* Dr. Strangelove, or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
("Do you realize that fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face?"
"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!" ... and too many others to count...)
* Schindler's List
(Part excercise in masochism, part redemption of the human spirit)
* Bloody Sunday
(Not very well known Irish movie, very worth watching)
* The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
(...I'm not sure it's explainable...)
* Big Fish
(Recent movie that I'm diggin')
* Maverick, Rain Main, The Shawshank Redemption, The Fisher King
(Because I'll watch them all if they come on, no matter how many times I've seen them)
* Magnolia, Conspiracy (with Kenneth Branagh), the Band of Brothers Series...

aaaaaaaggggghhhhhh

*head explodes from trying to write limited list*

Ditto on 'Bloody Sunday', Prox.

And yes, how did I forget 'Fight club' too, Paras.

Mean Girls was so good! I saw it about four times, I even made my ex-boyfriend come and see it with me and he liked it. It's so funny.

Loved Mean Girls so much that I have the theatre-sized poster on my living room wall.

I forgot
Catch Me if You Can
Cast Away (I even have a little replica of Wilson)
Loaded Weapon, so much humor in one movie!
Especially when Amillio walks into his trailer and it's a mansion inside!
I like Charlie Sheen and Amillio in funny flicks.

*THE NOTEBOOK*

Saw it the other night, here's my review:

From the moment it started, this movie was very, very predictable.

Overall, it was good, but not great. Just totally predictable from beginning to end.

I actually rented some movies this last weekend, for the first time in months. "Cold Mountain" and "Gods and Generals." It was a 'The War' weekend. I had to go buy "Cold Mountain." "Gods and Generals" is good if you're a buff (which I am), but if not a buff I'd stay away. Too many side characters and stories which only make sense when looking at the full trilogy - "Gettysburg" and "Last Full Measure." I have to go back and watch "Gettysburg" again.

Other faves:
Anything with Ewan McGregor
Enemy at the Gates (oh, Jude Law has my attention now)
James Bond (Connery, Sean Connery)
Labyrinth

Can't think anymore - head stuffed up - where's Jack Daniel's?

Labyrinth, I love that movie.

you remind me of the babe.
What babe?
The babe with the power.
What power?
The power of voodoo.
Who do (hoodoo)?
You do.
Do what?
Remind me of the babe.

David Bowie is so sexy. Ok back to the movies.

Interesting! Labyrinth is another one of my top ten fave movies of all-time! Wish I could actually go have some tea with the little worm and his missus. Add to the list She's All That and Michael.

Yeah, I forgot about I Am Sam, so I am officially adding it to the list. I didn't like Adaptation. I stopped watching it, it was really stupid, I thought.

Have tea with the little worm?? For some reason I think that I would feel sorry for them if I stayed with them to much.

Did you see that part when Sara is marking those arrows so that she knows where she came from and then that little man got mad and he came from underneath the concrete and switched around the pavement. Did you hear what the little man said? He jumped up and down and said "your mother is a f****t" I was so shocked when I heard that.

Watched ''Shaun of the Dead'' last night. It was hysterical!! a ''zom-rom-com'' they are calling it. A romantic comedy with zombies...flesh eating zombies... great fun!!

Faves of mine would have to be:
The Last Unicorn
Snatch
The Italian Job (original from 1969 with Michael Caine)
Playing By Heart
Amelie
Edward Scissorhands
Nightmare Before Christmas (did you know that it's 10 years old now? where has the time gone?)
Bridget Jones's Diary (yes, the book is better, but Renee is great in this movie)
School of Rock
Holes
G.I. Jane (girls kick butt!!)
Face Off (had to have one action flick)
Intolerable Cruelty
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou
The Quiet American
It's a Beautiful Life
Confidence
Basic (great crime thriller-twist upon twist movie)
Paris When It Sizzles
Camille (cry, weep, sob...)
And pretty much anything with Johnny Depp, except Crybaby, I just didn't get it...

A Raisin in the Sun
A Soldier's Story
12 Angry Men (w/Fonda)
Cool Hand Luke
Elmer Gantry
Inherit the Wind
Breakfast at Tiffany's
The Manchurian Candidate (original)
The Bridge on the River Kwai

Movies that I reeeeally like:

Airplane! (How come nobody's mentioned this yet? It's a classic!)
The Fully Monty
Monty Python films
The Talented Mr. Ripley
Pulp Fiction
Girl, Interrupted
Mall Rats
Velvet Goldmine
Rocky Horror Picture Show

That's all that I can remember right now- I have an odd habit where I can never really remember which movies I've seen.

Movie that I would have liked more if they had sticked more to the real story- Troy *coughAchillesandPatrocluswerenotjustcousinscough*.

Movies I really want to see when I get off my lazy bum and get my DVD player fixed- Annie Hall, Hard Day's Night, the Godfather movies.

Movies that made me go "This is stupider than a box of rocks"- Van Helsing, Pearl Harbor.

I just saw "Man on Fire"

Another all time favorite for me is "As good as it gets"

Divinia, your list sounds very intriguing. I will have to check some of those movies out.

The last movies I saw were 'Take The Lead' and 'Akeelah And The Bee' on the plane back to Canada. Thought they were good movies, and I'd recommend Take The Lead... the dancings are superb! The soundtrack was cool, but when I got 'em on CD I was disappointed, somehow the songs lost the magic.
