Hey everyone!

Got back from Switzerland last night - the whole experience was / is beautiful!!

After a lot of hassle at City Airport Saturday afternoon - I eventually got my ticket exchanged to a Heathrow flight - didn't make it in time to travel with the guys, but they had problems of their own! They missed their first Heathrow flight and the transit that collected them had a blown out tyre on the way! Anyway and arrived in Zurich at around 21:30 local time. Taxi to Zug, where the hotel and gig was.

Pulled up and the immaculate Park Hotel in Zug, and get taken to where the everyone is outside - such a clear, warm summer night and they're all relaxing before the gig. Everything was sooo clean, perfect and beautiful I felt like I was messing up the place!

We eventually get to the gig - a large concert hall - I forget the name now, but the amount of energy projected was / is amazing.

Our flight back was at 16:30 yesterday (Sun 1st Aug) and I was told it was also Switzerland's birthday - had to make the most of our time!

We woke up Sunday morning to a beautiful beaming day and a fantastic brunch, at the hotel and eventually headed down to the water front, an area of blue on the map called 'Altstadt'. The sun was so hot, we rented out a small motor boat to take us over the almost lagoon like, blue-green water, towards the alps! Although we couldn't go that far - we had to be back at the hotel for 14:00 to leave for the airport.

It was a time I'll remember forever, so much love on that journey. I'm writing a poem about it too - in my head so far!

Better get back to work!

So - any Swiss on LL? - Happy Confederation Day for yesterday!!!

Wow, You're so Lucky Sheaa Olein. I really want to go to Europe. you live there! How cool. Switzerland... Hmmm and that reminds me: Italy, Norway, Findland, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Oh and of course England! Well one day... in the near future. Oh and I forgot Germany. I want to go there with a girl named Megan. With a pack and some food, and money.

Indeed, Deep! I hope you get to go there soon - again be sure to tell me when you're in the area - that goes for you too Gia! I recall one of your posts saying you were planning a trip in September?

I will post the poem as soon as it's configured!
