Oh, hello hello hello. Many of you do not know me. I'm LMB and I used to post here all the time until Life got in the way. I've found that I have *some* internet time here at work and I miss this site greatly. I just wanted to say hello and give big hugs to Randall and whomever else might remember me and forgive me for not showing my mug around in a while - and to say hello to those of you who I don't know. It's exciting to see so many new names! *Well, new for me.*

Have a great day!

LMB

Hi, LMB, I know who you are, I have read your posts. I remember that you've had a little book store but you had to close it, right? You are a Taurus, right?
how is life going for you? Are you still in the book business? I'm a librarian and although I've tought about going into publishing or book selling, I have never had the guts to say goodbye to my 'steady' but low paid job. I admire you for your courage to go with your heart.
Have a great day!

Hi everyone! What a nice welcoming. I'm out of the bookstore biz right now, though I miss it terribly. I work at a small bed and breakfast and find myself obsessively organizing the bookshelves in each room.

This Fall I return to school for my 2nd year in my MFA Poetry program. Last year I taught a creative writing class and just loved it. I really blossomed as a teacher by the second semester.

However, (thunder rolls...) this year I have to teach Freshman Composition: Theory of Argument. BLECH. I'm not a good lecturer, you see. I love the workshop setting, supporting the other writers and suggesting how they could improve, but standing up there alone, in front of those scared/eager/drunk/bored freshmen (however they are)....

so i'm really nervous about that.

But other than that, I'm doing well.

Look forward to reading more.

LMB

hi lmb,

thanks for the updates. college freshmen can be boogers. (i was one ) though, it doesn't sounds like theory of argument is a GE class . . . am i right? so then the ones who are in it could actually want to be there or . . . it could be the only class they could get into if the other ones are filled.

good luck though!

i am doing good. just being a good girl, working hard and swimming 4x-5x a week. i am learning a lot about how to evaluate corporate stock at the moment. it's interesting

cheers,

aphrodite
