So Jackbenimble is a moron, so what? If God/dess doesn`t care, why should we

Yes, I know. S/he said it first. Intellectualize or Spiritualized, if God/Dess don`t care......... ??? Why the he*l do we???

We`re sending words/thoughts into the ethers about witchhunts,Spiritual S**ts,evil and some super duper name calling . I believe Linda don`t care, she`s moved on to bigger and better goals. So why do we?

If God/Dess and Linda don`t give a rats patooty, why are we shuffling around here worrying about the other guy? The proverbial splinter vs. the beam in ones own eye? Really, who cares?

BUT, what if God/dess DOES care. What if the behaviors are polluting the ethers? Potentially us, our energies and the ability to share this place set aside in harmony to honor a woman who believed in free expression? What if free expression doesn`t include the venom and uglys seen here?

What if God/Dess cares?

I don't have the answers.

What if life is already perfect, in its imperfections? What if everything exists to balance itself out?

I believe that everything in the Universe exists because it should. Existence sanctions itself.

Some of us may on occassion like to think we are more spiritually attuned than others, that we own a bigger piece of the Truth.

The only Truth I can really wrap myself around is this: We Are One, But We're Not The Same.

Even more simply: Life Is.
Everything else is just personal definition.

We are all beautiful fools.
It wasn't so long ago that people believed the earth was flat.
It wasn't so long ago that women in the U.S. couldn't vote or own property.

Beliefs Change.

There are people who speak in tongues, there are people who prove their faith with snakes, there are people who follow their leaders on space craft, or drink Kool-Aid out of little cups.

Who am I to judge?

I feel God/Dess does care, or God/Dess wouldn't be here.

The way we handle it now is up to LL as a whole. I have said before, it's difficult when some of us don't know each other - assumptions are thrown out there which hurt since intentions or shared experiences are mis-interpreted, and aimed, quite blatently. That hurts, and the response may too, but what to do if it has been started? We are all souls on this, brought together by a love to share good knowledge by Linda Goodman

I wish, I really wish LL will be left to it's own energies. As many of the Knowflakes have said so well, it will have bad and good days, I'm sure it's gone through much worse, if so then it's dealt with at the time. I don't believe in highlighting 'bad', or potentially 'bad' eventualities which in turn create bad eventualities! It's relative to all family situations.

It's just my thing - I have read most responses and really feel why people are angry now. I choose to carry on as I always did, and converse with the souls that I've always conversed with. The rest is/are details.

I believe everything exists to balance out! (I also wish I wasn't at work the majority of the time I reply on LL, so many interuptions)

I don't think it undermines the validity of those questions, either, to make a little side comment: the question "who cares?" (in and of itself, not necessarily here) generally bothers me. I care.

Trillian, I understand what you meant when you said "I believe that everything in the Universe exists because it should. Existence sanctions itself." You said that in a string i was involved with before, in slightly different words, and you actually used the word "all". (I wish you had this time.) Randall expressed the same idea very beautifully in The Most Important Thread On This Site! All is sanctioned; all is permissible. I've also heard it said as "there is no such thing as evil".

True, true, true!

And false, false, false!

I understand the concept, and agree with it on a strictly intellectual basis. But if everything is sanctioned, if all is permissible, that includes the stockpiling of enough nuclear weapons to destroy the Earth. That includes the raping of children. So when I think deeply about what the words "all" and "everything" mean, somehow it just doesn't seem so true anymore. Somehow I just can't bring myself to say that those things are permissible or sanctioned.

It's a quandary. It seems true and false to me at the same time. Maybe it's true to my head and false to my heart? I'm not sure.
