Wowsers. I just got back from a wonderful dig. I spoke with the spirits, dug up tons of amazing stuff, uncovered ancient secrets, met astounding people, sailed on the ocean, slept in a rain forest, discovered a personal connection between traditional foods and mindsets, and so much more! It was so great.

Juniperb and Trillain...I thought about you two while I was gone. I guess my mind was too busy with all the spiritual input from the dig, but I couldn't seem to connect with you very well. Have either of you seen eagles, ravens, or seals in your dreams during the last month and a half?

And now I'm back to find some sort of storm has been hitting Lindaland to the extent that our wonderful Juniperb is leaving. Do I have that right or is this some kind of awful mistake? I haven't had time to check all the old threads, but there are rumours all around of witch hunts and dark forces and hurt feelings and all kinds of stuff. Frankly, I'm glad I missed it, so please...no one feel obliged to re-hash the whole thing. I just want to know if sweet Juni is OK.

And Trillian...I hope you are weathering this storm well and that we are in no danger of losing you as well. You should know, better than anyone else, that there is meaning to everything...and that meaning is 42.

So other than trouble in cyberspace, how has the summer been going for everyone? I have really missed you guys. I hope no one else has left.

Namaste.

I just noticed Ra is no longer mod at Universal Codes. Is everything OK with you Ra? I have so very much to tell you. I hope all is well.

Welcome back fishkitten!
I am glad your dig was well!!
I know, it will pass. I was under the impression ( I hope it is right!!) That Juni has stepped down as Mod, but that she will still be visiting here *CROSSES FINGERS*

I had a dream with a walrus in it.. it's ovr in Astral Realms. Not quite a Seal.

Hi Pix! How's life treating you? I'll check out the walrus dream. I wondered about the seal because there was a lady seal with the cutest little pup that was lurking off shore near where I was camped.

Thanks for the welcome home! I love archaeology, but it is always so good to be back. Now all I have to do is get used to living inside a building again. It always seems so odd to be inside after living outdoors. At least it was only for a month this time. After two or three months, I practically go feral.

FishKitten... I have thought of you often, and missed you very much. I am so glad you had a wonderful adventure and honestly can't wait to hear all about it!

Yes, things have been a little unsteady here in LL, but...they'll balance out. Juni has been doing some internal reflection, I don't know the extent of it, but I'm sure she'll tell us when she is ready. I'm sometimes amazed that she was able to Mod the busy Free For All for as long as she did, she has so many commitments at home.

My dreams have been fleeting and hard to hold but as I read your post something *clicked.* I will see if I can dredge up this gossamer memory...but I truly have thought of you often and looked forward to your return. Will you share the stories of your travels with us?

The winds of change find us no matter where we like to hide, and I feel them blowing but I have no immediate plans to leave LindaLand.

Hi LibraSparkle! Nice to meet you as well.

Trillian...I'm so glad you're not going anywhere. Juni has had her hands full with all she does here plus all her responsibilities at home. She must be incredibly busy this time of year. Most mornings, as I lay in the early dawn with the towering canopy of trees above me and the surf pounding a few yards away, a young bald eagle and some good-humoured ravens would come calling. They flew and called and dropped things on my tarps until I got up and walked down to the beach to greet the day. The seal nad her pup would frolic just beyond the rocks. I'm not sure how to phrase it, but when you are in a place with no electricity, no phones, no cars, no machinery of any kind for many miles, there is a sound or a feeling...so hard to describe...it just feels like a little piece of heaven. Those are the times I thought most of you and Juniperb...those mornings by the sea with the eagles and the ravens and the seals when the gentle breeze felt like a caress from god, I tried to send an image off to you. I figured even over the many miles you might just hear the sweet sounds of my wild friends and the soft sounds of hte ocean.

I will definitely tell the whole story if you guys are interested. It was one of the most amazing trips of my life. So much happened, it is hard to believe it all came about in such a short time.

Dave is doing great. (Thanks for asking Pix.) Last night Dave and Brad (my Cappy man) and Elliot (Brad's son) had a mid-night dinner out on the deck under the lights of the Perseids. Beautiful. Guitars, joyful voices, shooting stars, happy family...does it get any better?

Juni...if you are out there, LOVE and LIGHT straight to you. May all you touch turn to joy.

Hi Prox! How are Meg and Jase? Actually, I kind of feel that they are both well. I hope Scatbug isn't putting too much pressure on him's-elf, though. He must be going through just a myriad of changes and responsibilities right now. Good thing he has a you around to soothe those frazzled nerves.

FK - Thanks for asking

We're all doing fine, especially when you consider that whatever does happen is what should, I suppose. (See TWAFD thread for further fleshing-out.)

Meg's doing great - my father-in-law (who's absolutely enraptured with her) says that he's the happiest, most smilin' baby he's ever seen. But, then, I guess that there's no better Grandma than a Cancer Sun/Cappie Moon Male.

You`re back FishKitten Glory be it`s good to see you and feel your energy.

Your dig must have been heaven on earth. You and Dave have been on my mind so much lately. I must have smelled your homecomming

You may have reached me because I`ve been spending a lot of time on the dunes of Lake Michigan being hypnotised be the waves and getting lost in time and space.

I`d like the whole story with nothing left out . Do you have pics too? You`ll be conditioned to being home as soon as you have to clean the bathroom & vacuum

Welcome back !

Hey Juni...you always bring such a smile to me face. Clean the bathroom indeed! My dear, I have absolutely no idea how single men exist. I left three men here, ages 37, 23, and 14. Its just lucky I got home when I did or at least one of them would have died from dirt. I got home a day early at 5:30 in the morning. My house looked like both Florida hurricanes had been through here. Every surface in my house, both vertical and horizontal, were covered in something I didn't recognise and wasn't interested in investigating. Dave had been staying at a friend's for the last week because he already knew how I was going to react and didn't want to be in firing range when I got home. I noticed he had put a few written comments on the door of the refrigerator predicting dire consequenses, but his warnings went unheeded. Brad works 4 nights a week and then works playing music 2 nights a week, so the teenagers kind of took over. I walked in, took one look, and left a note saying I was at a friend's house drinking beer until things were lots cleaner. Yes, it was not even 6 am, but I'd been up for days and time had ceased to have meaning. Sure enough, he called about three hours later and said everything was good. It was actually extremely funny and those kids cleaned things up really well. There was some houseplant death, but the pets all made it, so life is good! lol

OK, if you guys really want to know, there is a thread called "The Adventures of FishKitten" where I tell my story. Frankly, some of it may be a bit hard to believe (such as my meeting with Sky Woman) because I was pretty blown away myself, but it is all true. I have sent my film in to be developed. Remember, I live in the boonies. We don't have one hour photo. More like two weeks. But as soon as they come in, I'll be asking for help to post them somewhere.

On second thought FishKitten, maybe all I was smelling was your house rather than the homecomming

I`ll be looking for your thread

Wow. That sounds like my life daily! How's your son's arm, Fishkitten? I guess if he's working 4 nights a week, and playing guitar, he's OK!! Maybe this was just God's way of bringing him home for you. Assuming this is the same son, and that was your story a few months ago. Suddenly, I'm not so sure. He got hurt in an oil-feild accident in Alberta (my home prov.), in May or so? Is that right?

Hey LionEye...you're one of my favourite Leos. You have it kind of right, but you blended a couple of people. My son Dave was there in Alberta and got hurt. But it is my husband (not really husband...you know how it is in Canada...you live with a guy ten years, so its like he's your husband, but no one has bothered to involve the government) who is working all the hours and playing on weekends. Both are musicians. All is good for my son and his arm. He healed really fast. I think you are right. I think it did happen to bring him home because he has really found some good things since all this happened.
