question to the traot readers..I think Pixie was doing some tarot readings before..-> when someone has a reading, and then when they wanted to know more about certain love interest, and when they were asked by the reader to pick 6 cards for this person, and when one of the picked card is The Moon, what does the Moon card suggest? hi Jazzebel, not my own wisdom..but from a book i have on tarot.. On a divinatory level, the moon-goddess, augurs a period of confusion, fluctuation and uncertainty. We are in the grip of the unconsious and can do nothing but wait and cling to the elusive images of dreams and the vauge sense of hope and faith. Thus the fool awaits his rebirth in the waters of a greater womb, dimly aware that his journey of personal development is only a small fragment of a vast unknowable life which spans milennia and which remains eternally fertile yet eternally unformed. Hope this helps you some IP: Logged |

Hey Biss,In my own interpretation, The Moon card depends on what the surrounding cards say. If someone is hoping for the best in a love affair --- in its most exalted form, this card (if upright) is generally not a good indication of open communication on several levels. Good luck on spiraling with it Aphrodite IP: Logged |

Here's what I found:"The moon card represents the evolution of spirit. The shell fish is symbolic of life emerging from the water of creation and starting on the path of return to the creator. The path is narrow and long representing the trials and the length of time that evolution takes. The path has its ups and downs and is not completed right away, but a slow process of learning and focus. The 32 tongues of fire falling from the moon are symbolic of the 32 paths to the tree of life. The dogs are symbolic of mans nature, one is trained, and the other is wild, the positive and negative forces that we must control to complete our time here." And like Aphrodite said, the full interpretaion can only be made in relation to the surrounding cards. I've done tarot for several years now, and intuition usually takes over. That's when I take all of the cards and combine them to bring a meaningful reading to the querant. Hope you find what you're looking for! IP: Logged |
