Very cool LS

As you know I not only love, but work around hiphop promotions & people in the business. If Crooked T wants to ship some full CD's / demo's over - for a bit of UK coverage, to me ket me know. Every Friday I'm at a record store called Deal real in Carnaby St, we've had quite a few artists down there (from US too), and always industry people. I live in hiphop central too! (Brixton)

Woohoo.. Notting Hill Carnival this weekend!

LS - Very cool
I hope that Shea's offer pans out for him.

Reading this topic reminded me of something I've been meaning to do for a while:
Copy cat and plug my brother-in-law's band (he's the lead singer).

They're still mostly regional, though they've done shows US-wide.

Their site's down for remodeling, but here's a link to their CD Juliet's Dying and their new EP (there're some song samples there).

I'm not sure what you mean by proper fix ... but if it means what it sounds like, I know he'd call you a dimer and would be down for a fix whenever you wanted one

I gave him your address about a month ago. I don't think his current cd is perfect enough for him yet. Everytime I talk to him he's changing up one thing or another.

I'll tell him you asked though.

He's opening for a show at The Arnada (a popular sh*t hole bar here) this Saturday. Well, he's opening and performing later down the list. This is (I believe) his thrid show in the last couple months. This coming from nothing, it seems to be picking up for him.

He wants nothing more than to be a rapper. His heart's really in it. He's poor as all hell, but he's happy to be doing what he's doing. He does have a day job... but nothing he really cares about, or that pays well, for that matter.
