Well, the show has run for more than 12 seasons...
The writers claim they have never let on where Springfield actually is. Has anyone ever caught a slip up on the show?
What is YOUR favorite charactor?
Mine? Homer!

Lisa: It is better to remain silent and be thought the fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Homer's Brain: Uh-oh what did that mean. Better say something or they'll think you're stupid.
Homer: Takes one to know one!
Homer's Brain: Swish!

I can't pick a favorite.

On an older episode, Marg is ordering something on the phone, she starts with her address, and says~
"Springfield, Oh----Hi Maude!!! What are you doing here?" As her neighbour walks through her kitchen. That's the closest I have seen......
Of course I love Homer.
Groundskeeper Willie is cool too.

There was an episide where at the end of the show, from a sky wiew they panned out from what looked like the North East U.S.
But the exact location wasn't clear. Another episode, The Simpsons traveled to Washington, it appeared the trip didn't take long.

I LOVE The Simpsons. We were having a discussion about it in my class the other day, and our teacher was talking about how when you look at it closely, it's just shockingly very real and in tune with society- the corrupt/lazy mayor, Duffman, etc. She told us something I didn't know- the creators went to Harvard.

I don't watch the show that much, but my 14 year old son does and just loves it. I would have to say the guy from the V Store.

I don't understand way my pic isn't coming up, I have been doing it right now it won't work.

The is a book written on the philosophy of each charactor, it's a serious study on the charactors and today's society! You can find it in the philosophy section of a book store.
