I got an idea today! Amazing, yes, but it's true! Wanna know what it is? Okay, I'll tell you, but you have to promise that you'll laugh:

So, why not have a thread devoted to funny. Yes, that's right, funny. I think there was one a while back, I dug around for it, but couldn't remember the name of it, so I've decided to make another one. The point of it being, FUNNY!

Share jokes, silly stories, quotes, song lyrics, lines from movies, anything that you think is funny, and will possibly make the day of another Knowflake. I know I love to smile and laugh, who else does?

Obviously, let's try not to be vulgar or inappropriate, but merely shine a little light on each other with some good ole' fashioned funny stuff!!

I'll go first. Here is a story about my niece, and how freakin' cute she is:

I live in England, I moved over here last November, and when I left, I had brown hair. I went home in June with a head of pretty darn blonde hair. I spent a month at home, and decided that blonde just did NOT suit me, so I dyed it back to brown before returning to England. After I left, Maddie, (my 3 1/2 yr old niece) asked my sister where I was. She told her I had gone back to England. Maddie said ''why? Is she going to ger her hair blonde again?''

Kids are sooooo freaking' adorable!!

Love and light to all, and bring on the funny!!

I just colored my hair back dark(ish) too. It was really blonde, and I decided it didn't suit me... so, I colored the underneath part of my hair Red Oak (kinda medium red(violet)/brown, and the top Sun Bronze (medium red/blonde)... then I mixed 1 oz. of the light with ½ oz. of the dark and streaked that through the top to darken it up a bit more. It looks really good. Much more suiting for my near black eyebrows

My kids love hair dying day around here. They get to take part too. We pull out the foot bath (with massage, and whirlpool option) and soak our feet, do our nails, and color our hair. It's a lot of fun. My oldest decided she wanted blonde hair this time, so... we capped her and pulled every circle hole through and bleached I found a great bleach product this time. It's called Kaleidacolors there were three base colors: purple, beige, and something else I don't remember... blue? maybe. Anyhow the COOLEST thing about this bleach product is: IT PROCESSES IN 10 MINUTES!!! My daughter went from mousey brown to blonde in 10 minutes, no s$it!! It's a powder that mixes with developer.

My younger daughter is already blonde and likes it, so she usually just opts to add a little pizazz to her natural color. This time we streaked in an intese gold. Looks cute.

Now we're all colored, and polished, and sparkley

Great idea Ghani!!

Here's a little funny story that popped into my head.

A few years back, my little cousin Daniel, who was about 4 years old at the time, was asked by his pregnant mother if he would like a new brother or a new sister. A boy baby or a girl baby? He replied, quite seriously, "I wanna black baby."

LOL! My aunt told him that that would not be happening.

Kids really do say the darnedest things!

I've told this one before but for the newbies,

Roma: (age 8) "Mommy Mrs. Army Ho wants a conference with you" (handing me the slip)

me: "Army Ho? does she let you call her that"?

LOL lala.

I just remembered a note I left for Santa with his milk and cookies when I was very young at Christmas one year. My mother saved it. On it I drew a picture of Santa and it read:
"Dear Santa, We have been a little bit good this year. Love, 26"

LOL! Leave it to a young Taurean to leave it short and sweet.......and most likely honest.
