I have an interview at Companion Pet Clinic tomorrow @ 3  When I dropped off my resume, I found it just so happens that the new office manager is the wife of one of the co-owners of the café I barista'd at for a while. I was so excited to see her! I gave her a great big hug  She's such a sweet lady!! Anyhow, she's gotten a lot of applicants. She can't just hire me because she knows me. (Unfortunately). So... Wish me luck! I haven't decided if I should take out my tongue ring. I don't really play with it much for fear of my teeth falling out, so it doesn't really show... hmmm IP: Logged |

Well... The interview went well. Apparently the way they do the hiring there is:1. Interview with office manager
2. Observation day (I observe them... they observe me... we decide if we mesh)
3. Trial working day I've made it to phase two... but now I've got this damn cold. *sniff* My observation day is Friday. I'll go in and help out as best I can and they'll tell the manager if they like me. I'm sitting here drinking my kambucha tea, having just chewed 1000mg of Vitamin C. Thanks for all the luck wishes... ... now will you guys wish me well? I think between the kambucha, Vitamin C, rest, and some powerful well wishes, I should be okay by Friday. At least not hacking my brains out... and this stuffy nose! *sniff*  IP: Logged |

Good luck - and pick up some Echinachea/Zinc lozenges, they also have Vitamin C in them. You can find them any major drugstore or healthfood store. These work best if you start as soon as you feel a cold coming on.IP: Logged |

I am sick too.....
I could feel it coming on for weeks, I was so tired it was kind of a relief when my glands seemed swollen.... and now the road to recovery in so many ways.

Wow, I am sick too! I have the flu And I was sick about 1 1/2 weeks ago!!! What is going on? I take 2000-3000 Vit. C. per day normally, eat very healthy. I also have been taking Echinacea. Well I guess I got bitten by a bug
