Hi, haven`t seen you around much more than I have been

I wanted to say I have been remiss in telling you how much I have enjoyed your Adventures in the Metamorphis installments.

I pray all is well with you and Dave is off and running

love,

Hi Juni and Sheaa (and everyone). I'm glad you enjoyed the story of my trip. I should have come back ages ago to post my pictures from the summer.

I miss hanging about in Lindaland. There has just been so much going on in my life that my days seem to get ever fuller.

Update:

Dave is doing great. He was planning to go back to the oilfield when his arm healed, but had such a good time hanging around our little village that he is still here. I'm glad, of course, because I like seeing my baby almost every day. We spent most of the day together yesterday just yakking and making a big vat of spaghetti sauce and sharing a six pack of beer. Too much fun. Also, he has met a lovely young lady (well, she is about 10 years older than Dave, but still young as far as I am concerned.) Love is grand.

Good news about my friend Hayduke! I talked to Two Eyes and his lady Leo a few days ago and they have seen Hayduke. His doctors say he has improved enough to go to his cabin one more time. They are going to let him go next week (although, frankly, they think he may not return). I hope he spends whatever time he has left there in the wilderness.

I'm writing a lot and have been trying to leave my travelling shoes in the closet for a while. It isn't easy, let me tell you! A friend of mine just headed off to France for a new dig. I have been invited to participate. Six months to a year staying only about 100 kilometres from Cannes on the Riviera. Sigh. Sometimes family has to come first and I just can't abandon them right now. However, my sweet Cappy man is more than willing to go with me whereever and for any length of time once his son graduates from High School. Three years to go! Actually, we both think a bit of travel would do the boy good, but you know kids...their life is wrapped around their friends. My kid had no choice but to go along on my adventures and he thinks he is better off for it, but not everyone is the same.

I'll try to check in a bit more often! I really do miss talking with you guys on a regular basis. Plus, tons of stuff seems to happen when I am gone. I have no idea what has been going on, but there seems to be dire warnings against false gurus, IP adress tracking, and some closed threads that I have not yet located or perused. Must be lovely Scorpio engaging everyone's passion.

I'm off to explore the recent past in Lindaland. As the Governator would say...I'll be back!

Love,
FishKitten
