As a boy and girl. I would choose Maya for a girl and Maylen for a boy.
They sound calm.

My name is really, really unique... Like... I guarantee nobody else on the planet has my same full name. Not possible! And my first name means "star" and has a good numerological vibration (36 - my last name is a 10... my married name I most commonly used was a 22 and my full married name was a 47, ugh!)... I wouldn't change it. My grandma named me.

BUT... names I like... for a girl... Isabella, Yasmin, Alessandra, Angelina (no, not cause of Ms Jolie... it's a family name), Mahalia, Natalia, Tatjana, Milla... I like those names.

For a boy I'd probably choose a family name of some sort or just name him after his father or one of his grandpas... All the boys names I like are too trendy or too ethnic.

I'd be "Justine"...but then again, I'll just have a little girl and name her "Justine Evelyn"...

When I was a little girl I hated my name and wanted to change it, but now I love my name and I dont think Id want to change it.

However my three favorite girls names are...

Jayda: originally spelled Jada, latin name meaning Jade. Jade is a very special stone to me.

Rhiannon: after the Celtic Goddess of horses, dreams, and enchantments. I have had a special personal relationship with her.

Alisa: This name is special to me because its the name of one of my spirit guides who has helped me very much in my life.

Im very picky with boys names because I dont really like the trendy ones and I dont like the ones that are too different either. So if I were a boy Id like to be named after another male. My son is named Maxwell after the lead singer of a band I saw in concert while I was pregnant with him.

When I was young I thought I should have been named Maya. I'd pretend that was my name.

I am satisfied with my name but if I could change it it will have to be either Jay or Chayse but then again that is what I will name my sons!

I like my name too.Although it is marine name.I,m a little bit afraid of the water. I'm afraid from immensity of the sea and ocean. But I wouldn't change it. I think it is international name.I'm almost shure that in every country has dot it.
If one day I have a girl I would name her Todora or Yoana and if he is a boy - Konstantin or Aleksandar. I like names which sounds great

I like Alona Jade for a girl or Avery Michael if I had been a boy. I guess I'll save those names for my kids!

I kind of like my name though (Colleen) just because 1)Irish people always recognize it and it's a conversation starter and 2) it's different. Every other girl my age is named Jessica or Jennifer. There were 14 Jessicas in my graduating class!

on a side note ... my mom originally wanted to name me Barbara Jean (eww!) but my dad quickly put a stop to that nonsense (thank god). I guess next to Barbara Jean, being named Colleen isn't that bad

I've always wanted to be Molly Jayne. No idea why, I just love it! I also love Mia and Maya. If I were a boy, my dad wanted to name me Clyde after his father. Thank God for ovaries! I can't imagine what I would want my name to be if I were a boy...

~Carissa (Another name I've always been happy with!)

I love so many other names, but I don't think I could possibly name myself with any other name. The reson is that it simply would not feel like me. I've gone through all my experiences with this name. So I kind of feel it was supposed to be.
