Received a strange, yet interesting, email from a stranger today. I've never seen the email address before, and have no idea from whom or what it came. There was no attachment, so I went ahead and opened it.

Here you go:

quote:
Darlin how good to see you!

Good, the more communicated, more abundant grows. If you do it right 51 percent of the time you will end up a hero.
Rock 'n Roll is an asylum for emotional idiots.

The measure of your holiness is proportionate to the goodness of your will. Beware lest you lose the substance by grasping at the shadow.
Beauty seen is never lost, God's colors all are fast.
A person will be called to account on Judgment Day for every permissible thing he might have enjoyed but did not.

What should I say about life? That it's long and abhors transparence.

It is with trifles and when he is off guard that a man best reveals his character.

If I choose to bless another person, I will always end up feeling more blessed.
Act the way you'd like to be and soon you'll be the way you act.

People should be free to find or make for themselves the
kinds of educational experience they want their children to have.

Talk to a man about himself and he will listen for hours.

Commas in The New Yorker fall with the precision of knives in a circus act, outlining the victim.

Glory is largely a theatrical concept. There is no striving for glory without a vivid awareness of an audience.

Pain is less subject than pleasure to careless expression.

Slums may well be breeding-grounds of crime, but middle-class
suburbs are incubators of apathy and delirium.

There is creative reading as well as creative writing.

We have not overthrown the divine right of kings to fall down for the divine right of experts.

God, I can push the grass apart
and lay my finger on Thy heart.

Destiny is something men select; women achieve it only by default or stupendous suffering.

Never fear shadows. They simply
mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby.

He who refuses to learn deserves extinction.

I do myself a greater injury in lying that I do him of whom I tell a lie.

Love is like quicksilver in the hand. Leave the fingers open and it stays. Clutch it, and it darts away.

Bless

Very interesting read. I'd double run a virus scan just to be on the safeside - and e-mail the source back to see if you can find out who it is. Let us know.

I got one too Trillian. Not the same as yours but written in a similar style. I'll wait for a while before I post it, to see if it's someone who I've conversed with before.

Strange though huh?
