Just dropping a note to let you all know I will be taking a break from my puter for a while. I've recently moved back to the states from the UK, and life is in an upheaval period right now. Lots of transitions to be made, and I haven't the same access or time I used to have to pop in and see you all. I'll stop by from time to time, but right now needs to be a 'me' time, gotta get my head sorted out and get myself back on track.

Yes, it's very good to be around those who love me unconditionally again... my rocks, ya know? They drive me mental sometimes, but I'd probably be dead in a ditch without them at this point. Mum is fab, a little overbearing, but she has been so worried about me, something that I was viewing as a bad thing for a week or so. You know us Aqua's, need our independence like we need air... but she means well, and she has been a tremendous support system. I know I get frustrated with her, and some of the other members of my family (who doesn't?) but at the end of the day, they were there when I came into this world, and they will be the ones by my side until I leave it... and I will never let anything outside myself let me forget that again. One of the main reasons for coming home was to be near them again.

So, I have a job already, and have a car prospect, will probably wait till after X-mas to actually buy it. Mum is already looking into a few apartments, helping me out finding a decent place to live (she's in real estate, so she's got some hookups). Just concentrating on getting my life back to being my life again. I can't really give too much of myself to anyone else right now, I've been doing that for years straight, and it's taken it's toll. Time for a bit of selfishness, I'd say. Not too much (aqua in three bloody planets, damned humanitarianism), but enough to not lose myself again.

Very much looking forward to Christmas, as I haven't been home for that holiday in three years, and I really do miss the kind of celebrating my family does. It's mad, hectic, loud, too much food and wrapping paper, but it's my people, ya know? Good to be home indeed.

One of the peeps I work with is looking for a roommate, so that's an option, but I may just want to be on my own in my own place, depends entirely on finances. It would be cool to have a roomie (they like cats, too ) but time will tell.

Okay, that's about it for now. I'm lucky to be online today, so I figured I would pop in here and make a few posts.

How are all of you doing? How is the mad holiday season treating all of you? How are the munchkins LS and Pixie? Bet they are getting pretty excited!! My niece (just turned 3, sweet center of attention little cappy) had her birthday party on Sunday, and she was freaking adorable. She opened up Mary Poppins, and was soooo excited, she posed with the DVD for pics and kissed it and hugged it like it was a doll for about 20 mins.... my goodness is she a riot!! I'll post some pics of them soon, they melt your heart!

Eh, just feeling a bit worn out and demolished today.
