I just found out I got accepted to University of Auckland in New Zealand!!!! WOOOHOOOO!  I'm so jazzed  I just had to tell someone, this is so awesome  ------------------

Thanks gals Eleanore, no problem - my libra moon loves to expound I'm returning to school next year to get my degree in Ancient History. I've been piddling about for the past several years doing classes at a community college trying to work towards my degree - with excruciatingly slow success. I attended Auckland University back when I was 20, but dropped out and returned to the US w/out finishing. I'm a dual citizen, NZ and US, so I'll be moving back in July in time for their second semester, and will return to the US for their summer breaks (so I won't get a proper summer for three years - their summer is our winter :-\ ) But the really great part is that you get your BA in three years there, they just eliminate all the General Ed courses, which in New Zealand one would take in the final year of HS (7th form), so no calculus, no statistics, no biology or all the other superfluous stuff that has nothing to do w/ the major And their Ancient History program is world class. I just got back Monday from spending several weeks down there getting my enrollment in order, renewing my NZ passport, and basically just making sure that relocating to NZ is something I really want to do...and it is I'm so happy, this is the best xmas present!
