i am in danger of losing my apt., i had to stay in a mental hospital for attempted suicide, and i was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. if my roommates kick me out, i have no place else to go which scares me so much  IP: Logged |

 Why might your roommates kick you out? Are you on continuing care from the institution? Taking meds? Do they know of anywhere you can get further help? Are you in CA? You might consider an email to Gia, she might know of some agencies in CA that can help someone suffering from depression, and can give you a 2nd opinion on the bi-polar diagnosis. What do you need to set your life in the right direction? Perhaps if you discuss it here, write it out, someone might have a valuable suggestion for you on how to get the things you need. Well I don't think my friends would kick me out, they have reassured me they want me to stay. However, my best friend's mom (whose name is still on the lease)seems to have a problem with me and as far as she knows, I am already gone. BTW thank you all so much for your continuing support. So sorry to hear of your situation. My Dad tried to kill himself at the end of 2003. He has now been diagnosed with clinical depression. Please hang in there and take each minute as it comes. You will get there in the end. We are all here to support you and listen to you.IP: Logged |
