Happy Valentines Day!

I agree that it is essentially a Hallmark/Flower Industry-created holiday. But I choose to view it as a day to honor and celebrate the importance of love, esp. romantic love, in our lives.

The one thing about Valentines Day that I think sucks, is how it's hard-core advertised, as well as the apparent marathon of love-related films they show on seemingly EVERY TV station. I see it as causing unnecessary pain for those who may not have love/romantic love in their lives, which has been all of us at one time or another I presume.

But if you remove the consumerism, I think it's just a great excuse to appreciate and celebrate

Yesterday I forgot it was Valentines DAY!!
But when I got home, I had lots of present laid out for me from Darren. Oh he was so sweet, lots of chocolate, essential oils, edible oils, mmm, and nice undergarments...I think he was hinting at something, lots of romance tonight!
