I'm still up too! Glad to see someone wants the butt chip I swear it looks like a Wise BBQ one, but I could be wrong. I wonder how many butt chips I've eaten in my life...hmm!!

26T yay you're still up!!! Meeee tooooo...I still can't focus well haha. All I've done the past few hours is have a conversation about mushrooms, and I just pulled out all the local papers from the past week and I'm laughing because it's talking about possibly bringing a Boscovs to the town I live near but the article states all these possible sites and then talks about why they aren't possible (ie. there's nowhere to park in Glens Falls, NY). Funny because I just nominated this town for this guy's book for one of the crappiest towns.

and now the paper here is talking about buddhism and living in the now! It states, "We live in our expectations, not our experience. Buddhism emphasizes learning mindfulness of the moment." Sounds great, till you find out the article is actually about the Sunday doldrums people get because they have to begin the work week the next day.

Yep looks like I got a little second wind going on here. I'm baaaaack.... This place is seriously addicting.

VTT, "a conversation about mushrooms". You should talk to the Taurus. He's growing some right now. What a weirdo. It's kind of neat to watch though. A bunch of them seemed to "sprout" overnight. Damn, I forget what these ones that are growing right now are called though. So funny looking. They look like sea creatures. Blue tipped.....maybe I could find a picture of them in google. I cant believe I cant remember the name of them. He talks my ear off about mushrooms so much now, I should know. LOL

That's funny. You know I havent been to Glens Falls even though it's pretty close. And after what you say about it I will not be visiting. LOL

That article sounds hilarious.

Haha I agree that this place is addicting! I think it's because we can talk about whatever we want

SWEETT!!! Growing mushrooms?! Haha I'm growing moss over here with my tree. I know what you mean by them seeming to sprout up overnight, there's a wooded area near the house, and during the wet warm seasons I'll wake up, go outside, and there'll be mushrooms everywhere! Hmm I wonder what the blue-tipped ones are...interesting! I like these mushrooms called morels, they look like coral .

Haha yeah, Glens Falls is nothing to visit! There's hardly anything in the town...a burger king...yeah that is seriously about it unless you want to get seriously drunk or praise the lord. It's really sad. I have to drive either 20 minutes north to Lake George, or 40 south to Saratoga Springs to really find something interesting. (Saratoga ROCKS! Awesome park there with an albino trout/trout pond and plenty of flesh eating ducks...ok they don't eat flesh but you can get about 30 of them to surround you!)

Hehe. Cool. Yeah, he just told me they are oysters but they dont look like normal oyster mushrooms right now because theyre just starting out. Yep, he loves morels too. I'm not a huge mushroom fan. I'll eat them but only in small doses.

"unless you want to get seriously drunk or praise the lord"...........

Havent been to Saratoga either. I'll be on the lookout for the Saratogian flesh eating ducks if I do go though.. ROFL

It's funny how a thread can go from straight from "Dirty smelly hippies"
to butts, old onion bagels, mushrooms
and flesh eating ducks here, in a matter of minutes.

I'll only be for a few hours though. Fun, fun, fun.
Night all.

OMG!!! That picture rules! Yay! Oyster mushrooms are pretty cool I don't eat mushrooms because I don't like the taste but I think they're neat .

Woot Saratoga is the birthplace of potato chips. Yummmm! The funny thing is, these days I swear it's Pennsylvania that makes the bigger chips.

The quick change in the thread seriously is how my mind works. So random!

Have fun at the coffee shop!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
r u going to make it to 7,000 on this thread alone?

Anyone who has ever dressed a child will love this one!
Did you hear about the teacher who was helping one of her
kindergarten students put on his winter boots? He asked for help and
she could see why. Even with her pulling and him pushing, the little
boots still didn't want to go on. Finally, when the second boot was
on, she had worked up a sweat.
She almost cried when the little boy said, "Teacher, they're on the
wrong feet." She looked and sure enough, they were. It wasn't any
easier pulling the boots off than it was putting them on. She managed
to keep her cool as together they worked to get the boots back on -
this time on the right feet. He then announced, "These aren't my
boots."
She bit her tongue rather than get right in his face and scream, "Why
didn't you say so?" like she wanted to. And, once again she struggled to
help him pull the ill-fitting boots off his little feet. No sooner
they got the boots off and he said, "They're my brother's boots. My Mom
made me wear 'em."
Now she didn't know if she should laugh or cry. But, she mustered up
the grace and courage she had left to wrestle the boots on his feet
again. Helping him into his coat, she asked, "Now, where are your
mittens?" He said, "I stuffed 'em in the toes of my boots."
Her trial starts next month.
