What about Turtles?? I rescued a small turtle (amaller than a quater) who was trapped in between two slats of wood at a public playground. I think a child had pushed him in there. It is my understanding that these little guys have a rough time surviving in the wild. They have lots of preditors and many of them die during hibranation if they are not big enough to live through the winter. I have taken in several of them through my years and always let them go when the get a little size to them. I hope them they don't think I am cruel. I feed them big fat worms and make sure they have fresh water and plenty of sun light.
