Hello Knowflakes!I've been having a look at the forum for a while now but havent really posted before. So just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello to everyone. I've been a fan of Linda's for years ever since Mum gave me her Sun Sign books to read - about 16 years ago. I'm currently reading GOOBERZ, which I bought in October 2002, at the same time as reading it lots of changes happened in my life. I've tried a few times since to re-read it but always stalled (for some reason!). I gave it another go and am on Canto 20 again. Is it *coincidental* that strange things DO happen whilst you're reading Gooberz!?! I think it was definitely the right time for me to read Gooberz again as am having lots of ups and downs at the moment. In other news, I live in England and I'm an Aries like Linda. Its my 30th birthday this Sunday (aargh!) I have a purple plate which is currently charging crystals and I'm a Reiki Master. I've learnt so much from Linda's work and hope to continue to do so and I also hope to make lots of new friends here. Love & Light

Welcome Aurora!!  Yes, Gooberz does have a magic quality to it, doesn't it? I can only speak for myself, but at least for me, whenever I am going through a really painful/confusing time in my life, Gooberz comforts me. Makes me feel less alone in this world, you know? Yay, what a lovely bunch you all are!
I've had a good look around the forums to see what's been going on. I love busy forums where there's so many topics to see and interact with.Thanks so much for your birthday wishes too. When's your bday teaselbaby? A fellow Aries! I'm being a typical Aries and arranging a big picnic on Sunday on Primrose Hill in London, where obviously I can be centre of everyone's attention in the good old Arian way!!!!!! I agree GLLF, Gooberz its magic and comforting. I don't know if you have the same experience but there are days when I don't read it - and when I carry on from where I left off it feels like its the right time to continue reading and that I had to have the delay. Like everything to do with that book is timely. BTW Can anyone tell me how to get the cool icons up in a message?? xx ------------------

By the way, what is Reiki? Hey Johnny, Reiki is a really gentle, beautiful form of healing, channelled from Universal energy through the Practitioners Crown, Heart and Hand Chakras It was 'discovered' by a Japanese man named Dr Usui. The Reiki student becomes attuned to the energy and learns about Reiki from another Master and can go on to learn further levels from 1 (Self-healing) to 2 (Practitioner) and 3 Reiki Master which means you can then teach others. Its works on ALL levels, Spiritual, Physical, Emotional, Mental and balances energy, helps with issues on all/any level. Its unobtrusive, gentle and you get fantastic results and experiences! Reiki is one of those things like many spiritual practises that turns up inexplicably when it is needed and its the right time. I'm hoping to practise it in my spare time properly as soon as I find full time job and move to London where I can use my own flat/space to practise.
