This kid,(4) I am telling you, comes up with the most precious things in conversations.
Tonight, I gave her a bath, braided her hair ( just cuz, now she has spiky braids all over her head.. so cute)
After the book, ( and the mandatory 'monster' talk)
She started talking about painting.
She said;
"You can paint with your hands."

"You can paint with your feet."

"You can paint with your face!"

I said .."Wow, you can pretty much paint with anything!"

She said, very matter-of-factly.. " You can't paint with a lightbulb."

Touche.

Adorable, Pix. I do love the things these little ones say. My son is four, too (soon to be five in May.) And isn't that just the right age between knowing enough to draw conclusions, but not knowing enough to know that most of those conclusions are ridiculous! It *is* precious!

Got a pic of those spiky braids?!

Little boy = no braids or dresses
I'll have to live vicariously!

Whips out photo album

This is her in the Fall, at a park

This is her pulling attitude

Her being precious.

This is my son, I have great pics, but they are kind of embarassing.. just so you know I haven't always had dresses.. and well, even now, she battles me.
Although my son has put curlers in his hair.. and oh yes, I do have the photos.*snicker*

awwww.
I get all warm and bubbly when people think my kids are cute.
They really are though.
NOw I am going to talk about them....

My son is filling out and at ten, I think he'll have that athletic, easy to maintain body.
He's always had good muscle definition, and now he eats so much ( it is just going to get worse..)
and is growing rapidly. He's got green/grey/blue eyes... and they are so expressive. I can always read him.. and the blondest hair!!!
When he was born, it was practically white. He's got five Scorpios in his chart, including Moon and Venus, and he's a Sagittarius with Aries rising.
He is sooooo smart. But man, in his organizer at school, his teacher comments all the time.. "Forgot his shoes for gym" "forgot to hand in such and such" "forgot blah blah blah."
I mean, it's really funny.. forget me trying to help.. it's no use. He is sooooo messy. But soooo smart. Don't sweat the small stuff, I am proud of my little man.

My daughter is a Libra with Gemini Moon and Pisces rising. Throw in a Scorpio Venus and oh my gosh..
she is the most adorable little sh!t ever. She will bat those baby blue eyes, and touch my face, and say " I wish I could marry you when I grow up, I love you so much." *yes, I know*
and she is quite the communicator. When her ire is up ( it doesn't take long) she is such a little fury force to be reckoned with.
She and I have definate karma to work out., I have always wanted a daughter. Then at times I ask.. "Why?" I remember being the same kind of daughter.
I love love love and will have your heart crushed under the weight of my goodness.. then I would be nasty nasty nasty.
I see that in her, but I do see the reasons behind her behaviour at times. Sometimes she's just being testy.
I love her so much it is breathtaking.

Both of my children.

Okay, sorry to wax poetic....

The pics are great! I love those ages. Keep the one with your son in curlers hidden away until he brings home his first girlfriend, then whip it out!!!!
Although my son is beyond innocent cute, he is pretty funny. The other night we were discussing a movie. He was trying to explain something to me, but couldn't quite find the words. He finally got p!ssed and said "Mom, It's a parallel universe, God! Go read your quantum physics book!" Shut me right up. (he has never talked to me in that tone. I had no clue he even knew what a parallel universe was, let alone quantum physics! They do surprise us, don't they!

Wow pixie, your children are beautiful but the picture with your son in the curlers…nooo, so embarrassing lol but my God, they are gorgeous.
The one with your daughter with fountain hair lol I have one with my baby sister like that…she was around one too…they’re so insanely cute at that age. And in a dress baby dresses are the cutest
Thanks for sharing them.

*big proud smile*
Thank you for letting me go on and on.
Bluemoon.
I would love to see pics!
Find a host, like photobucket, and import your photos there.
Then use the properties address of the image, between the [img] tag on either side to post pics.
You must be very proud of your son.. wow. And of course, nothing holds a candle to the joy and pride of a daughter as well.

you know what? I can't recall.. you can put the path from there though.
It has worked for me before, I swear, but I do recall there being a problem the last time I tried to post something I had over there.
Try. and if not, I'd be happy to mosey on over and check it out.
I did see your photos before... With the gorgeous scenery.
