It's weird, not too much....much longer hair(about 4 feet) not as red as it was.., older(but not wrinkled, I avoid the sun) and heavier. Thanks! I thought at the time that I was ugly, but when I look back.......well I shouldn't have.

You all are hillarious!

Well my name ... My real name is Angela. Through out school I was inevitably mistaken for Angel all the time ... I had one teacher who asked if Angela was short for Angel (wouldnt that be the other way around if anything!??!) ... so thats one reason.

In school also ... my last name was always pronounced by most teachers as "hope" Except my German teacher - she said it perfect ... "Hoppe".

Angela means "heavenly messenger" in Greek.

After reading Star Signs ... regarding Lexigrams, I tried my hand at em. And immediatly I saw Angel & Hope in my name. (strange cause i never saw if before) So i became known as the "Angel_of_Hope" by my friends after revealing my findings. From there on out, Angel_of_Hope stuck. For eveything, screen names, friends cell phones, emails etc ... kinda weird how that happens.

2 reasons... number one, life is full of surprises. number two, Roadhouse Blues by the Doors gave words to these feelings. If I could change anything, it would be the underscore. Any way to get rid of that?!

FishKitten, I've wondered about your name before. Sounds so cute! A little pisces leo... I'll bet you're quite the lovey dovey one!

And fayte.m, I've been curious about you, too. What an interesting story! I knew it would be.

If anyone knows about the norse God Thor, son of Odin, Odin gave him a hammer that was welded from a metal called Uru, by the trolls of the asgard. no one could pick up the hammer unless they could show that they were honorable.

Thor is said in Mythology to die from fighting the Midgard serpent (midgard meaning earth)He sacrifices himself for the world

I guess it could be depicted as Odin-God, Thor-Jesus, the hammer-the Cross, also Thors half brother Loki-the devil?

In the comic book version of Thor (yes at thirty five..I collect them!!) the hammer says on one side, who ever is worthy shall hold this hammer"
http://www.immortalthor.net/item-mjolnir.html http://www.immortalthor.net/bio-thor.html

plus he is the ruler of lightning and thunder, in Katherines burts book, archetypes of the zodiac, Zeus is the ruler of lightning and the archetype of sagitarius.

Thorshammer! This doesn't have anything to do with user names. It is in defense of comic books. My husband is also 35, and wrote a book for librarians and teachers about developing and promoting graphic novel collections in libraries. For those that don't know what that is(a graphic novel), it's those thick comic books to put it simply.
So comic books and graphic novels are not just for kids.

Heart-Shaped Cross

I'm big on duality, so, the name signifies, for me, the sacred intimacy of love and suffering; that one suffers for love; a sacrifice which ultimately transforms us, as we die in the rebellious love of the personal ego, and are reborn in unconditional surrender to the love of God, the Infinite.

Its also a pun on "heart-shaped box", which, besides being a Nirvana song (my favorite band), also signifies the "trappings" of personal love.

Also, the abstract notion of a cross shaped like a heart transcends the gross, external image of the cross, and points to the symbolic nature of it, while the notion of a which is in fact a cross suggests that "the devil may assume pleasing shapes".

I hope others will perceive me as someone interested in the religion of Love, mysterious, enigmatic, philosophical, serious, irreverent, and more than a little Scorpionic.

Who am I?

Christina Eavyn Warner

A few months ago, I decided to change my middle name, from ______(not gonna say...) to Eavyn. (With the previous name I've got a 17, and a bunch of horrid things...and the thing is, I choose that one too, in 7th grade) and I like the words and numbers hiding within the name Christina Eavyn Warner. It's almost as if I've been choosing my destiny.

I'm Everlong because my favorite song was Everlong by the Foo Fighters at the time that I made this username. I also just think it's a neat name. I'm Sarah, but people call me Sars .

It's part of my real name so it's who I am. My friends all know me as Gia. I found it difficult to adopt a screen name because I felt it was just not me. Gia is who I am. I simply couldn't be anyone else.

Fayte.M

your right....I forgot to put in the reason...you know us boys and our comics and graphics...Yippee to your husband.

Just wondered if any of you would like to share the "why"
(because I love Thor and try to be honest and brave for the cause just like him)

you chose your user name. "what" does it mean to you

(it means to me, that anyone that wants to live a wonderful trip this time around can do it if they want to,we can all pick up the hammer), or how you wish to be perceived by others

(I wish to be perceived by others as honest and hard to the core, looking for the truth, looking for justice)

, and "who" you are,

(I am Thorshammer, ripping through space to unlock the secrets that were never meant to be locked, I am sirrus the writer that unleashes himself with love to and for all, I am Kelly the Fighter the warrior, the sagittarius.it all goes hand in hand, I am all of those people wrapped into one)

to whatever extent you can reveal, or not.

I am just happy there is a THOR comic book...lol

Grow that hair longer and longer Fayte.M

Interesting stories all of you ...

HSC ... That Aqua moon gives a new dimension to your watery depths and mysteries. And the cross you bear is of seeing the world in all its ugliness and sordid reality and being able to love it and give empathy and compassion inspite of the mess you see. Thats the cross you bear and the incredibly humane love you have gives it the shape of a heart!

The Scorpio sees things too clearly with its eagle vision for anything to filter in anything but the plain brutal truth and the Aqua is too much of an evolved soul to judge and condemn even the basest of human emotions. You see it all, yet you do not resign, you endeavour to understand and empathise and all the while, effortlessly and unknowingly give of your love and compassion.

I picked 26taurus because my Sun is at 26 degrees Taurus and it reduces to an 8. A very prominent number in my life.

I'm not a n00b either but! Mine is my Sun/Moon/Ascendant, I really liked the 'ring' of the 3 signs said together. I figured it'd save everyone a lot of trouble, no one would have to ask my 3 top signs and I wouldn't have to keep telling them
