Today was a fantabulous day because:

Meg and I went out to a strawberry farm and picked a gallon of luscious, incredibly sweet strawberries
(Meg by the time we got back: );
then, as we were cleaning up the last of her birthday presents arrived:

(Yes, that's strawberry juice all over her outfit.)

How was your day fantabulous?

She's beautiful! Have fun with the piano.
Too early for fresh-picked strawberries here...

...and, Yesterday was a fantabulous day 'cause I took my niece to NYC and we spent the day in Manhattan with friends. Buying fake LV pursues in Chinatown, a peek into Saks, a little time at the Metropolitan Museum...martinis at the Algonquin. Then a couple of Bass ales at some Irish pub near Rockefeller Center.

There is a $10,000 martini available at the Algonquin. You have to order it in advance; it comes with a diamond in the drink. We didn't order that one.

I NY.

becauuuse ...

1. I went for a movie - alone, had my hair highlighted - alone and generally enjoyed the company of the most interesting person in the world - me!

2. My honey is at an all day Reiki seminar that puts him in an eczellent moon!

3. I might be having my first legit "intellectual discussion" with jwhop - whose martian outbursts I always enjoy!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!

Yay for a day with both Venus conjunct Sun and Mercury conjunct Neptune! Why cant I have more of those??!!!

Prox, you beat me to it! How was The Guide?

btw, I've heard they fry Twinkies, too. Some day, I'd just like to try one little bite of the fried Twinkie or candy bar. We still have one or two Drive-Ins 'round here, and I can match that Rattlesnake Rodeo. A few years ago a couple got married in a snake pit at one of the local Sportsmen's Clubs. Very romantic, I'm sure.

Yesterday was a fantabulous day because I cleaned my apartment and otherwise rested all day.

I think I'd call Meg,
"mega-muffin".
Then I'd kiss her springy cheeks.
Nut meg is so cute.

Oh, TWAFD because.... it has possibility.

"Mega-Muffin"

*giggles*

That definitely has possibility.

And, Philbird, those can be the best kinds of days

trillian - They fry *everything*.
Everything.
And, bah, I thought that we were super-cool with our drive-in.
re: Hitchhiker's:
It would've been better if Meg had fallen asleep (as we had hoped she would) instead of morphing into a crazy monkey. As it was, it was kinda difficult to really focus on the action on screen. That being said, it was good - though I wish that they had found a way to work the whole "Genghis Khan" bit in.
There's a whole new plot line going on, but from what I understand Adam's fleshed out a lot of new elements specifically for the movie before his death...sooo...
And remember that Dolphin Musical Number?
That's the opener.
Classic.

YESTERDAY was a Fantabulous Day b/c Jase received his early Father's Day present.
I went broke buying him a refurbished laptop - he appreciates it, though, and that's what matters
NOTE: There are few things more heartwarming in an odd way than an Aqua with a brand new "Toy".

...Will...Not...Let...Thread...Die...
...Too...Many...Fantabulous Things!

Sunday and Monday were Fantabulous because we went down to Panama City and ate at Salty-Something-or-Other's with good ribs, and then went down near Port Saint Joe (not far from PC and ten thousand times more pleasant) and walked along the sea shore, collected shells, and watched old people fish:

Yesterday WAFD because Meg had her very first cup of chocolate ice cream, I finally got some knitting supplies to use with the Christmas present that my Mom got me (a knitting how-to thingy), and I spent the whole day hanging out with Jase and the kiddo
TWAFD because I got 16 knitting needle sets for a little over $4, and because Meghan called a little Pug dog a "Bayybee".

(Different sizes and types - and it's 32 all together
Well, kinda...there're seperate ones and circular ones...)
Really, though, I have no idea.
I've never knit anything in my life.

I'm just covering all the bases.
For $4.
