No you definately should have left the last line in AG LOL!!!! - just call me psycho Sue!!

Yeah she is Scorpio. I feel you are similar to my hubbie, he says even after 16 years he is not used to me - now that is something isnt it, and I feel the same with he!

You with that 8th house thing too - I feel you would be VERY intrigued by a plutonian, and if you are up for the roller coast ride or "short and frequent trips to hell" as one knowflake described Scorpio woman as, you would enjoy the challenge.

Did you ever read the Scorpio woman description in Linda"s Sun Signs, you would find that interesting I feel - it says it all really.

I feel there is a seriousness to you too that would relate to them, and of course Scorpio people are often obsessed with music. I am selling this well to you Acoustic??!!

We are nof for the faint of heart tho..........but then again you are not, so you would be just fine there!!

Please ask away, as you know I am open with my opinions and love to help.

Love

Yeah, it is, and so timely that I happened to read it.

He seems to be doing fine. Last I heard he was having good days and bad days. It's going to be a long recovery apparently. when I last spoke with him they wanted him to walk 5 minutes a day, which seems like such an incredibly small amount of time. If that's all he can do, then it must be pretty painful I would think.

Sounds like a bad way to learn a lesson.

Families can become a worry and a burden at times cant they AG?

My Dad has gone from being virtually suicidal to feeling okay - when I asked him why he felt better he said "I think the Prozac are kicking in" - aahhh bless him, age 78 and having to do this, oh well what ever gets you thro hey? Who am I to judge, or to tell him what to do!

Love to you and your family

Thanks Sue! I actually just got him a get well card. It's nice. Here's what it says:

[i]When you're
feeling stronger
and when the days
are good,
I wish for you
the power
of renewed energy

(Pg 2)
When the days
are hard
and the nights
are long,
I wish for you
a gentle peace
to help you endure

(Pg 3)
Always
I wish for you
the comfort
of knowing
that many
caring thoughts
are reaching out
to you.

I hope he likes it.

Thanks. It's tough being myself in my family, but it would be so much nicer if we could just express ourselves freely. That's what I'm going to work on from now on. Maybe we'll be a family after all.

Hi AG, hope you dont mind just wanted to add my two cents worth.

My family over the years was similar to yours, and i was really unhappy because i am so expressive and open about things (well compared to how they were anyway) so one day i just thought, stuff it, i am going to continue being who i am, i can be no other way, and slowly, min by mind, day by day, as I changed my family slowly started to change as well and now we are really open with one another, we freely tell each other we love them, and speak our minds without fearing the loss of that persons respect or love, and if someone is offended they say so.

Hang in there, your family are so lucky to have to in their midst. You are a truly special person and if i could choose, i'd have you as a brother/son any day.

take care Mr Cappy

Awww..thanks kiwi. I would like for it to work. I've three Aries to contend with in my family, so there's almost always tension. On the bright side, though, I only see my family once a year, so I'm practically a celebrity when we get together. (I'm also secretly my mom's favorite I think )

I'll be interested to see if any meaningful transformation happens with my dad.

What sign are you again, kiwi? I'm guessing Scorpio as well (like Sue).

I'd have to say that Scorpios are my best find at LL. I wish there was a female scorp in my life to see what that relationship would be like in person. You Scorps are great and insightful friends here. I'm very impressed.

Love to my Scorp friends,

AG

Maybe you just bring out the best in us Scorps AG!

I find you to be an awesome guy and i also find it hard to believe that you are single! but then i find it hard to believe i am single too!!! LOL

Reading your posts has definately given me some faith back in men i have to say. If I can find one close to the kind of man you are i will be well pleased...

My weekend has nearly arrived...it is 3.30pm Friday here in NZ and i am so looking forward to my weekend. I have had NO time for me lately with my gran passing and all the family stuff, and then friends in crisis, so this weekend is all about ME! So a good book, hopefully some good tv and my very comfortable couch is about where i'm at this weekend...unless of course Mr Sag turns up (in which case i may see the bed, floor or kitchen table!!!! ;-)excuse me for being so rude!!!) otherwise all will be quiet and restful...

oh and i live like 2 seconds from the beach so if the wind is right tonight i can go to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore, one of my fav sounds, and then i can go for a lovely walk down the beach at low tide tomorrow, listening to the waves and my fav sounds on my discman....

take care AG, the right woman is out there for you....and you never know your luck...she just may be a scorp.

Your weekend sounds fantastic! Wish I could be there. I love the beach. Still a little chilly there this time of year, right?

I thought your bold sexual statement was cute. Some people could take issue with it, but probably not in this thread. I find the safest places in LL are where the Scorps are at. To me, it seems like you guys make people feel comfortable to be themselves.

I hope your weekend is nice. I've still got another day of work, and another night of playing music before my weekend really begins. Still Thursday night here.

xoxo,
AG

You're right AG it is still a little chilly here, but getting warmer by the day. The coldness never bothers me when it comes walking along beach...i just rug up nice and warm...

I just had the best thought...i love to sing, you love to play music...sue g is a singer too...maybe one day if its meant to be..we can have a jam! NOW that would be one heck of a way to spend a weekend dont you think.

What do you say Sue G???

AG I know plenty of people who would disagree with your comment about people being able to be themselves around Scorpios...so many people i know are sooooo uncomfortable around me, heck i feel uncomfortable around me sometimes..lol.

Well when your weekend finally arrives i hope it is a good one, music has a way of seeping into your soul and making you feel so good doesnt it. How do people exist without it?

Much love Mr AG.

I practically got offered a job last night! I'm excited, but I've already written about it in two threads.
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006173-6.html

There was also a hint at a car coming my way (I don't have one currently) if I know how to catch subtlety. The Sag I play music with on Friday nights (last night) said that I should look into what cheap cars are available. The thing that caught my ear was him saying, "by Wednesday." By Wednesday? I hope he's saying what I think he's saying. That would amazing.

Anyways...

Talk to you soon,

AG

AG that sounds so exciting. I have lots of friends that have done work for Habitat for Humanity. So it would be great to work for a company where you could still have input into something like that.

Sending you love and positive thoughts. Let me know how it goes ok.

Well its monday and i have chronic mondayitis....very full on weekend, Mr Sag came a visiting so i didnt get any sleep saturday night!!! for obvious reasons and my quiet friday night ended up being a big night...finally got home Saturday morning 6am! Spontaneous is good though and it was nice to catch up with a couple of people i hadnt seen for a while...

The weather on Saturday was so beautiful here. Didnt enjoy it as much as i could have as i was Sooooooooooo tired....so i just lazed around in the sun....nice.

Had a good singing jam on friday night...well i was the only one singing but i had a captive audience! lol so that was nice. My vocal chords need some practice havent been singing nearly as much as i used to...

It's still sunday for you you lucky thing...just one more day off would have been great.

Take care Mr Music Man...

Heading for home soon, just wanted to say AG, there is a lot of exciting energy around you at the moment, lots of new beginnings are on their way for you. Emotionally you are about to be expanded in a way you never thought possible whether through a job or relationship, you will rise to the challenge and be rewarded, financially and emotionally.
Keep believing in yourself ok.

hugs

Wow! Thanks for the kind words! I hope they're true.

I have been thinking a LOT about this coming job. I feel a bit of pressure since it's a friend of a friend that is hiring me. I'm hoping to live up to expectation.

One thing I've been a little concerned about is coming off too child-like as I always seem to. I typically make friends really quickly at work, and adopt a competent, but fun demeanor. I think I may go with the flow a little too much without being assertive enough to be considered for leadership. I want to learn whatever quality it is I'm lacking.

I'm being brought in the office to basically do anything that needs to be done. Purchasing, receiving, project management, CAD drawing (I'll be learning), interacting with clients and employees, running errands, etc. Good opportunity to learn just about everything about his company. He wants me to organize everything, which will be another daunting task. I hear fixed signs are the organizers, and Mars in Scorp is my only fixed sign. Perhaps it being Mars will work well for work use, but I'm not typically one to be ultra-organized.

I'm not typically this insecure about jobs. I just really want to do well, create something good instead of being my usual restless self.

I hope your Tuesday was better, kiwi. Thanks again for the nice words.

Hugs,

AG

I just went and met with my future co-worker/boss. Turns out she's really cool and lively...AND she's a Taurus. Thank goodness! All my fears about what she might be like are over. She was scattered and quick, and I thought that she might have been a mutable sign, but Taurus totally works, and she didn't mind at all that I asked her birthday. I'm excited to get to work whenever that happens.

I was just browsing, didn't know you had your own site. LOL.

Just dropped in to say the email never arrived. No worries, but I didn't want you to think I might be ignoring you.
