How do you learn best? i.e What is your dominant learning styleI think there are 8 Intelligences (9 if you include existential, I have to find a quiz that includes that one) Try out these Quizes, and Post your Sun/Asc/Merc

How did you do? My scores were all pretty close together. My dominant one (by one point) was intrapersonal.sag/sag/cap I only took one quiz though.  IP: Logged |

First one: 1. INTRAPERSONAL 37, 2.LOGICAL/MATHEMATICAL 29, 3. VERBAL/LINGUISTIC 27 Second: The Seven Intelligence Areas Linguistic: 7 Logical-Mathematical: 8 Spatial: 7 Bodily-Kinesthetic: 7 Musical: 7 Interpersonal: 6 Intrapersonal: 11 Third: Intrapersonal: 99
Bodily-Kinesthetic: 84
Logical-Mathematical: 70 least - Interpersonal: 40 So my thinking's mainly Intrapersonal, Logical, verbal/liguistic and bodily-kinesthetic.. I'm Aries/Capricorn moon/Gemini Asc/Pisces Merc Interpersonal is always least and that's not surprising.. I HATE working in groups or with ppl (it always goes wrong somehow). Intrapersonal I finished it out, but that went to kind of bizarre conclusion. I should say that there wasn't a conclusion. Gosh I didn't realize how long these quizzes really are...I liked the first one  This is what I got... MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES TOTAL SCORE

I think I need to work on the bottom two a bit more...or maybe I'm just hard on myself.
Unfortunately, the way traditional schools test their students is to the advantage of those whose prefered learning styles are primarily Logical/Mathematical (math and sci)and Verbal/Linguistic (english,history, etc)...The education system has to find ways to include and value other learning styles as equals...in order to foster stronger communities...that affirm and appreciate our diversity. Years ago when I taught art I was made well aware of the theory of multiple intelligences. Someone once asked the person who created this theory whether he feels that there are more than these intelligences and he answered yes. He answered that If he were to include more intelligences he would most likely include -- taste, and sexual. So anyone really good at sex?IP: Logged |

On the first one I scored highest in Intrapersonal followed by Visual. The second one was once again Intrapersonal first, then Linguisic, and then Visual.I'm a Sag Sun and PIsces Moon IP: Logged |
