no, not a secret been thinking about mixing up a special formula for my mum. here is the recipe i use:

1 one ounce glass jar

fill half with aloe vera gel, half with 20,000 iu of vitamin E cream. put in one dropper full of a mixed oil serum purchased from sumbody.com (it has jojoba oil, pistachio oil, carrot oil, avocado oil, rosehip, lavender and other good stuff) and 4-6 drops of grapefruit essential oil. mix all together with the back of a spoon handle and voila!

been using this for a while and it has improved the texture of my skin, evened out the complexion, along with minimizing acne breakouts. i don't wear foundation any more. just cream blush, eye makeup and lipstick. smells nice too. i have oily, combination zone, acne prone skin.
