Trillian, Sue G, and Aselzion...I am so so so very sorry to leave you all in mid-conversation for so long. I was visited by a roving band of Archaeologists who eventually admitted they had come to lure me off to search for the Old Ones. I resisted for a few days, but they finally talked me into it. I am in the far North in a place they call The Peace. I am the Archaeologist in charge of a small crew. We go out every day and search for signs of the ancestors of the oldest people who came to this part of the world. This is a wild place. There are few people and I go to areas where there are less still. My crew and I go out by truck on some days. When we get so far out the trucks won't go any further, we go by ATV. Once those become cumbersome, we move on by foot. Some days we go so far out into the wild that helicopters drop us and our ATVs off in places where no people have been since the glaciers melted. I see moose and bears and deer and tons of other wildlife every day, but you'd be amazed how few people there are up here. It is daylight all the time right now, which is pretty amazing as well.

Enough about me. Before I ran from the house with my archaeology kit, a map, and a case of tomato soup, I stuck my Tarot cards and my readings for Sue G and Trillian into my pack. Sue G...I will put yours into the thread where it started as soon as possible.

Trillian...I have missed you so much!!! I will e-mail you tons of stuff as soon as I can type it. I have been in the bush for a while and I am kind of beat tonight, but I will be working close to town tomorrow and I'm hoping to have more computer time.

Aselzion...when last we spoke, you were going through some changes. I meant to look at your cards before I left, but now I see that this is better timing for a reading. The power of this place is palbable. Spirit throbs in the land like a steady heartbeat. I have some time in a traditional spirit quest spot coming up. That time calls me to cast your cards.

Again, I am so sorry that I left you guys hanging for so long. I'm really bad about taking off like that. I have some pretty cool pictures if you guys would like to see some. I can't show sites in this case, because those pictures are the property of the people that employ me. I can show you some pics of the Peace River, the Old Alaska Highway, Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and some other personal stuff though. Someone will have to tell me how to post the pics on this forum. I have always admired the way Proxieme's fit so well. What resolution and size should they be? I didn't have room to bring my own laptop on this adventure, so I am using a computer that someone loaned me. It doesn't have Photoshop or Illustrator or much of anything to edit pictures with, but I'm sure I can figure something out. I haven't tried to download my pics out of my digital camera yet, but I think it sends out a simple picture editing suite automatically.

I missed everyone at Lindaland. Anything new and fun going on?

FishKitten You are still my hero! I knew you were off on a new adventure, and reading through your post I got the most lovely images of where you are and the elemental beauty and peace that surround you. You are such an amazing woman.

Please, no apologies are necessary...I am simply eager to hear all about this new chapter in your life, and to see the photos as well. I'm afraid I can't advise you on how to choose sizes, etc., for posting, but I know Proxie can.

I only have a moment to post right now, as this week I am doing the morning show and have to get on the air in a few minutes, but I will write more later today or this evening. I've thought of you often, miss you loads, and feel blessed to have a friend like you.

Hey Trillian! I am in town and putting together an e-mail for you. I'll send you a couple of pictures.

You should see this place. Actually, its more like you should feel this place. It is so obviously empty of people. Today I went out with Mel, a young woman for whom I've come to have a lot of respect. We took off from town with a satellite map called an Ortho looking for a certain spot. We drove as far as we could...which by the way was pretty far...that Mel is good behind the wheel...and then we walked along the edge of a plowed field until my GPS started pointing north. That was only about a half mile. Then we dove off into a thick mix of willow and alders that was unbelievable. We were laughing so hard out there in the middle of the thickest bush I have seen in a long time. Only another half mile to go, but all through this type terrain. We finally wound our way through, but it ended up taking us two hours of plowing through thick brush to get a mile in and a mile back out. No signs of ancient life afer all, but we went and looked. Then I came back and wrote a report saying why I thought that particular area was unlikely to be of further scientific value, archaeologically speaking. Fun day out there, though, just 8 miles or so into the bush from the Old Alaska Highway near the Kiskatinaw River. I saw a beautiful female elk in the field as we walked into the potential site and managed to get a photo. I had to whistle at her to even get her to look up. Moose signs were everywhere, but I didn't see one today. Perhaps tomorrow. Anyway, I'll go now and send you your reading and some pictures and whatever else I can write before I decide to fall over on the couch. I am staying, for now, at The Home for Wayward Archaeologists. Phones, electricity, e-mail, indoor plumbing...man it just doesn't get any better than that.

FishKitten...

Thank you for the thoughts and energy. Things are starting to perk up... I've even managed to lose another few pounds!

But as ever, I would love to have you look at my cards or give me your impressions when you have a free moment.

Your Quest sounds like a journey of a Lifetime, and I feel that it will be a powerful revelation for you. In a way I am jealous.. but am walking my own Path, as you are walking yours.

Thanks again for the support, and I look foreward to future installments... I have a hunch that you are "on to something" with this search for the Old Ones. It feels like a "going home" for you... and I will love to hear more as it develops!

Love and Magic...

Oops!!!! I was just sitting here at 5 am while everyone else in the neighborhood is still asleep and I decided to look at a translation I've been working on while my mind was fresh. Quietly in the morning light, I sat looking at an ancient language, looking at one of their names for God. Carefully and slowly, I sounded out each letter until I thought I was saying it correctly. Then I translated the next sentence. It said, "This sacred name is not to be uttered." I cracked up. It reminded my of that movie from a while back with Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep where she drinks the potion and then Isabella Rosalini says, "And now, a warning." The Universe is just chock full of humor, isn't it?
