I'm off to see some native australian bush land in the middle of the Grampians. We plan to camp there for 4-5 nights with no common necessities. Our whole trip should go for about 7 nights.
So I wont be around here from 20/08-->28/08
I'll be spending my birthday in the middle of nowhere, amongst birds, ancient trees and ferns, waterfalls, and rocky lakes.
LUCKY ME!!!

Happy Early Birthday (23rd)!

Wow! Sounds beautiful!
Make sure people know roughly where you are and definately when you plan to return..
I have watched too many after school specials to assume everything will go wonderfully.
*pooping on your parade*
I hope you mean 'necessities' as in hairdryer.. not trail mix.
*Becomes whiny mama*
It's because I care!!! Why don't you call me??????? Are you wearing clean underwear and dressing like a lady????

Anyway.. you know what I am saying.

I just loves you is all.. *kicks at a speck of dirt and turns away, embarassed*

But anyway.
Have a wonderful time and tell us all about it!!!!

Thanks for wishing me well Lotus & Randall

Fox, I see you're from Australia! The grampians is a few hundred kilometers away from Melbourne. We'll be taking the scenic route along The Great Ocean Road.
It's listed as one of the most beautiful roads in the world.

*nods* to pixie, I'll be handing out a few maps to people so they know where we are, my mother will make sure of that.
Of course I'll be taking the essentials such as toner, moisturiser, lip gloss, nail file and maybe I can squeeze in a hair comb. But then I'm pushing it...one car load is scary stuff!
My mum laughed at me when she imagined the royal highness (me) without a shower, toilets, and mirrors.
But I love a challenge, and I want to prove to everyone that I'm not an inner city yuppee, and I can rough it! Yes I can repeats that aloud "yes I can!"

I'll be leaving in a few hours!
Byebye!

Just so you get an idea on how lovely The Great Ocean Road is, here's a picture, and this road goes like this for hundreds of kilometeres. We'll be travelling on this road toward the Grampians.

I'll be surely stopping off at the 'Twelve Appostles' even though there's only 8 left standing, but the reason everyone goes is for the spectacular sunsets.

Here's a pic of the grampians.
