It is Tues. night as I write this, and what a day this has been -- but first, THANK YOU ALL so much for your beautiful prayers and words of encouragement -- it meant so much to both my son and myself and really kept me going when I thought the walls were crumbling around me -- as of this morning at noon, I still had no word on the house, and then when I saw the rental agent showing the house to another couple, all my hopes were dashed -- I had 48 hours to find a place for us to live -- and to make the horrible choice of which of our pets we could take with us -- if either -- our dog and two of our cats survived the fire, and the thought of taking them to the pound was ripping my heart out -- I had found a home for one of the cats, but the dog and my baby kitten -- oh, it was awful -- then out of the blue the rental agent calls and says the owner accepted my proposal (I'm unemployed due to pulmonary injuries suffered in the fire) -- and she kept saying: it had to be Divine Intervention -- no other way ! The story is a long one, but it is the end of my journey "home" -- I'm writing a book about my experience, and it will be published probably next summer, called "I'm Still Here" -- and you'd better believe you guys will be included in it -- we will be moving either the 1st or the 2nd -- when the final paperwork is completed on the sale of the burned property -- and then it's a time of rest -- I have two surgeries coming up, plus I have to have another bronchoscope -- yuck -- to widen my esophageous because due to scar tissue it's narrowing -- so much fun -- then six weeks' of dental surgery to repair the damage caused by the fire -- so it's a Winter of Deep Content -- and gratitude -- I was a stranger to this board, and you will never know how much I appreciate everything -- never doubt the power of your words and your thoughts -- May God continue to bless you all -- very kindest and best regards to you all -- Patricia and Tyler and two kitties and Max, who once lived at the pound and never has to go again ! Patricia, I am so glad everything worked out.  I am near to tears after reading your post. You deserve so much in life and i know that through this time of trials (have you ever read Job in the old testament?) you will grow so much and learn so much, and a the other end will be incredible rewards.You and your son and animals enjoy your new abode, and know that you are protected and loved. kiwi x IP: Logged |

Oh little kitties, I love em.......what are their name.....we have four kitties and three grown up cats, their names are:Willow, Buffy, Johnny, Rainbow, Treacle, Wilde and Cleo!!!
