I read somewhere that reading and writing were introdiced to humanity with a purpose of wiping out people's telepathy abilities. But apparantly now is the time to claim it back. Maybe that's why we have these children.
edit: I had to leave the computer and didn't finish the thought. So for these children reading and writing is as hard and maybe absurd as telepathy is for the rest of folk.

It touches me, the sisterhood of this place. Touchtone, I have been a daycare teacher for 6 years and I was appalled that teachers would pidgeon hole your child like that. It never ceases to amaze me they way people so easily find way to prejudge others, espically Children. I am FUMING!!!!! My son was/is dyslexic and we had many long years teaching him to read and understand what was said to him. He was in "special" classes until he was in middle school. He was teased by children and adults, because he was different. I tell people that children are not cut out with cookie cutters, everyone is different. My son could not read until he was 11. then it was like a light bulb went on in his head. He was reading on an adult level. He is in college now, he just recieved his LPN and is working on his RN. He is a wonderful person. He runs rescuse squad and work full time in the ER at the hospital while going ot school full time. I don't know how he does it. (aqua sun/aries moon}

ok, enough ranting for now. Bless all the children and they bless us all!

My son... Hunter.

He's 6 now and just started 1st grade. He used to have a lot of sensory issues (hated sand, water, lotion and very loud noises) and the doctors said that he probably autistic when he was 3-4. NOW they are all saying he's 'gifted'.

pffft I told them that all along.

OH and he's a Pisces - born on the Spring Equinox.

And there were the stars That helped to navigate our souls

Greetings to my beautiful friend Celestial!
Greetings all,

Its great to get feedback from other parents with Indigo's and Crystals. My oldest crystal Tristin (6 yrs) Is a picky eater, enjoys his own company, beats to his own drum, is kinesthetically inclined - which at parent teacher interviews I already had to discuss his lack of attention where they expect it to be among his peers. Is so loving and trusting and friendly. He is a humanitarian and feels for the underpriveleged. We were at the zoo last week and there was a musician, Tristin asked me for money because he needed money and was working for it. (AHHH! bless that heart When he was a baby he saw and talked with other energies around. Had vivid past life memories and phobias, Extremely drawn to crystals (in particular amethyst) and other intuitions. I work with the various tarot decks with him now and perform Reiki and encourage his usage. A month ago he came out of his room worried-just before going to bed because he saw a glowing white eye in his bedroom. I did research and what he saw was his the all seeing eye of god and I explained that it was there for protection and wisdom and that his third eye was opening more. Thats when he informed me he can see through dense matter of various densities. SHOCKING (even for a psychic herself) (I tested him too) With Tristin I encourage the open communication and express that we are a team and its normal what he experiences and we each have different gifts.
Both my children do not sleep soundly through the night. My youngest child Evan is an awful sleeper right now and very in tune with me. I disconnect the astral cord which provides more peace at night now. Evan is very particular things have to be put away just so and he observes outstandingly for (15 mos.) Evan is telepathic like me and I often test him by sending messages on the red ray. If he doesn't listen vocally I get my point accross mentally. He still says very few words instead giggles when we keep trying, I am sure hes thinking "Ha, ha good for you. You said it. Go on..."
Both children have large eyes that draw you into eternity. Such love, but also they have mood swings. Because they are so susceptible to energy flow. I have started to meditate more often and encourage they have a few periods during the day to slow down as well, project consistent peace and happiness and they are soo much more stable for it. I limit any negativity as much as possible.

Peace and Happiness,

You know........ now that I think of it, my son is extremely sensitive.. unusually so. ( as long as we're talking about it)
I barely react or think of it anymore, it's just him ~ the way it's always been.. Of course I think he is exceptional.

He can't wear clothing with tags, any scratchy anywhere.. he can't focus on anything but that..... it bugs him like a sensory overload.
I will hear nothing but complaints about it, until it is fixed. We adapt his wardrobe around that.
He is emotionally sensitive too. ( Scorpio Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Pluto, Node.)
He is super smart.. was flagged for IEP at his school, and we struggled for a while, because he will make a joke or be a goof if he feels awkward ( dont know where he gets THAT from...)*sheepish grin* and not take things seriously, but he would come out with these brilliant things. Independent thinker for sure. Of course, now he is wonderful and very very good and people are recognizing it now.
I always did, of course.
I hate quick labels.

Oh Touchstone

Your post took my breathe away girl.

Our son is gonna be 7 in November.......phew where would I start...

He had a very difficult birth.....c .section after 17hr labour, they put me under and then nearly lost me cos I almost bled to death (nice)....and then when I came around I was stoned..ha ha....me who had indulged very little and now I was out of me face.....he came in very strong despite this... with a look of "hey I am here"

He never slept properly until he was 6....nightmares,,,,very strong imagination. It almost killed me, the lack of sleep, a type of torture...

Like your boy he would spew up his food, even now he will only eat few foods, getting him to eat a banana is like trying to move fecking mount etna!!!

He looks different to most boys, wears his hair long, quite feminine, very beautiful (Moon In libra)....likes colours, dressing up in my clothes,,,,jewellery....but then again likes running and some sport. He seems to be growing into his maleness as he matures.

He loves company but Ive noticed it has to be certain kids, so he has ended up with few friends.

Hes a will of steel (Scorpio sun) and has at times brought me to my knees girl, I dont mind telling you.

He and I have an amazing bond, more than mother/son, it feels very karmic....one wise one said "when he is a man and you two meet up for coffee....the empathy between you will be amazing....true friends....

Up until now I only had to think of him and he would wake up....I am taking Bach flower remedies to balance out the energy .....so is he......he goes for colour and music therapy....i go for shaman healing, reiki, have had counselling, have tried most things in the healing line,,,,,i feel I owe it to him and his dad....and of course to myself!!!

26T typed an amazing statement which blew me apart. she said number 8 and number 4 people can produce very gifted children......we are 8 and 4....me and his Daddy. When I first met my friend who was then my reiki healer,,,,the first thing she said to me was "you have a very gifted son.....she saw him before me.....he was so large in my aura......

Could go on.....would love to continue with this again.

Love and luck to you and your very special son

Thanks again to everyone for they're genorus sharing .It's enlightens us all, and I'm sure the parents feel their frustrations ease with input form others . That was the whole idea of this thread. Bloodredmoon your child is beautiful you can see the love in him instntly .I can't rember who wote it at the moment but the comment about it being hard to get your child to write .What a profound insight I never thought about that. Of course thats why they don't do it easily whats the point . lol.If only all of adults would just get on board it would make their life so much easir.
I'm going to look at their like and dislikes stregenths and weakness from and evolunatry point of view.Imagine telling a teacher that your child doesn't like to write or talk cause they can communicate telepathly .You be on the news for sure .haha. We know it's true though the world will get there someday .
Another food issure I've noticed is MSG ( who really has a good reaction to it ?) and red dye food coloring ect .I'm noticing that with my 13 yr old sister . I keep telling her what she's allergic too she keeps asking me how I know that .lol.
I hope this post continues for a while I will keep making new ones and try to narrow down the topic's so we can look at different aspects of their lives.
I send love and light to all of you for your wonderful contributions. You are my angels of enlightment .

Regarding food, my daughter is lactose intolerent. Only rice milk for my kids. Nutrasweet also affects her badly, have to watch out for that. And a few months ago she went vegetarian. For her it's all about animal rights. (Wouldn't buy anything with leather. Absolutely refused to disect frogs in Biology.)
It's also interesting that she eats almost everything without utensils. She just hates spoons and forks!

Oh, this thread is wonderful. It's like coming home after an arduous journey

Josh is not very good with a knife and fork. In fact, I must confess I still have to cut up his food for him and he eats with his fingers mostly.

One thing Josh likes is deep pressure therapy where he gets wrapped up in a blanket and squashed - sounds crazy doesn't it but he loves it and I found out about it in a book written by a 10 year old boy with Asperger Syndrome (what's the betting he's an Indigo child?). What made me smile was that the author of this book also confessed to being fussy about food and would only eat pringles or cadbury's dairy milk chocolate. He said he hated meat so was vegetarian but as he also didn't like vegetables he should really be called a 'Pringle-arian'. Sounds just like my boy.

Does anyone else find their child responds to deep pressure. Josh find it very relaxing and it quietens him when he has sensory overload and gets jumpy.

Aw, Sue G, your son sounds amazing but I know what you mean about the sleep deprivation. It must be the cruelest torture going.

Would love to compare more notes with you. I've noticed both you and your son are Scorpio. Me and mine are both Gemini.

How do you find out what numbers people are? Is it adding up the letters in ones name a la numerology? I would like to do it with me and my hubby to see what we are.

Lovely pics BloodRedMoon - he's a real cutie. Please can you tell me how to paste a pic. I'm a bit clueless.

Love to all

Hi Touchstone,.

Ok - I was born 29.10.1958 - added together makes 35, 3 plus 5 makes 8. You are not gonna believe this but our sons birthdate also adds up to 35, cool hey??

Yes I would love to compare notes too - just ask away if there is anything you want to know or talk about!!!

As for the sleep deprevation, I am still coping with the after effects of that, and sometimes think I will never sleep the same again.........in fact I dont think i will ever be the same again.....I know you understand where I am coming from?

Sending you love and strength

Thanks for the info, Sue.

I have just calculated ours.
I am an 8
Josh is a 9
Hubby is a 7

I will have to go and do some research to see what these numbers mean. I'm new to this

Do you suffer from insomnia? I can never drop off to sleep and I toss and turn for hours. One of my fondest wishes would be to wake revitalised and refreshed after a *wonderful* night's sleep. Well, I can dream... (well, if I can get to sleep, I can LOL).

You were saying your son wears his hair long. Cutie! Is it because he hates having his hair cut? Josh used to have a ragged mop of hair because he would freak out every time I took him to the hairdressers and I stopped taking him because he hated the feel and sound of the scissors, especially round his ears. I trim his hair at home now but not very often so he often has a mop.

Hi Touch

Yes I cant get good sleep either and I think I may be approaching the menopause too.....but I am feeling wrecked most of the time.....not good is it girl!

Our son has a phobia about the hairdressers too, so like you he has it trimmed by me....such hard work tho, he wont sit still LOL !!!

Anyway keep posting, look forward to sharing more!

Hi divinIt

I found your post fascinating especially about the link between your children and you......I am working around disentangling my sons and I energy at the moment with a lovely therapist...she uses colour, sound toning and play...wonderful stuff. She says all three of us (son, daddy and I) came in with a strong past life imprint, and we are gonna work thro it...

Our son and I are very tuned into each other....say things at the same time, share musical tastes, clothes etc...he has very strong opinions but it always makes me laugh when I bring him clothes from town he will say....ooohh that is cool mum how you know what I like LOL !!!

To be honest tho I have paid a price for the path I have chosen - but am told he will be an extremely strong and gifted man......and me, well I will probably be an extremely knackered and worn out old woman LOL !!!

Thanks again for your insight - wonderful!!!!

Love

Hi DiviniT... I read your comment about your boy wanting money for the musician at the zoo and it touched my heart. These children coming in are so generous and thoughtful of others, aren't they?

Josh asks for pennies to put in all the charity boxes you see at supermarkets. He's like 'Mummy, will my money help people?' and I'm like 'Yes, sweetie. Every little helps.' and he replies 'Good. I like to help people.'

Love and light for your sleep situation. It seems sleep dificulties are a common theme among us all.

Sue, hi there! It's hard cutting the hair of a squirming, reluctant child... oh, I know. And I cannot get it through to Josh, no matter how hard I try, that it is less painful in the long run to sit still so the bits of hair don't end up in his eyes.

I would still like to put a picture up. Can anybody tell me how to do it please?

Sure!

To post a picture you need an internet address for the picture. You can get that by RIGHT clicking a picture you see anywhere on the internet, and choosing the option Properties. A window will come up with the pertinent info about the picture including the web address. Hold down the left mouse button while highlighting that address, then right click and choose Copy, or press Ctrl+C.

Then, when you're creating a reply here paste (Ctrl+V) the address you copied. You need to type at the beginning of the address . There can be no space between the at the end. It's all one continuous string of characters.

Now, if you post it following these directions and it doesn't work, I suggest getting a free account at photobucket.com.

In fact if you go there, and search for, "acousticgod," you'll see all the photos I have stored (try not to judge ). By doing this you'll also see three lines under each picture: Url, Tag, and Img. The third (Img) is what you'd copy, and paste to your reply in this forum for that picture to show up. You can see the [img] at the beginning as an indicator.

Once you have an account with them you have the option of taking pictures off the internet, or uploading them from your PC. I think it'll set yours up like mine where you can see the copyable Img line for use in forums like this. If while setting up your account it asks if you'd like to see those address lines (not sure what they're technically called), definitely say yes. Makes it really easy. Every picture I've posted from photobucket has shown up here without incident.

Hope that helps,
AG
