Hi. I only recently heard of the term 'indigo children'. I found this link, and I definetly think it sounds like me!

Has anybody else heard of/looked into the subject of Indigo children? Any Indigos out there?

Hi LTT,
Thanks for posting on Indigo energy. I am an Indigo. What did you care to know that the site doesn't cover? Maybe I can help. Have you ever read the "The Indigo Children" by Lee Carrol and Jan Tober.

Love and Light,

Thanks guys.

I think the term is 'Indigo Adult' too (?) So you can be any age, I suppose (?!)

DiviniT....I just emailed the site administrator and asked how they came up with the name 'Indigo' to help give me some more insight. I'm thinking of auras. I don't know whether ADD could be related to it....so many questions...lol.

P.S. No, I haven't read the book. Sounds good. has it been around for a while?

Hi guys!!!

I know a little about Indigo children. Theres also Star children, Rainbow child and Indigo children. Their all born at different times and have found it very difficult too understand sometimes, because theres so much information and talk on these children and I find that so many have a opinion and take on them. I have been told that I'm a indigo and a rainbow also. So really didn't know??? Have read alot about it though.

Here are some more sites!!!

This sounds interesting. I'm trying to figure out if there is some "cause" for this. Why would some people be indigo and some people not. I haven't had time to research completely, but I look forward to digging into the topic.

Great thread, ListensToTrees.

**Why would some people be indigo and some people not.**

Why would some people choose to have brown eyes and some blue?

What I meant, BRM, is that, as in the case of eye color, the reasons are genetic. I was curious as to whether or not there was any speculation as to why some people would be indigo and others would not. Like I said, I haven't had time to check out the links in as much depth as I would like. Perhaps I'll find some answers then.

But thank you anyway!

And you're welcome, LTT!

Peri,
I checked out one of your "sunfell" links. This is fascinating. I've never heard of this before, but it's all eerily familiar-- even strange little details that I've chalked up to my own unexplainable weirdness. It's all there!

Mind blowing. Really. Thanks for bringing this up, LTT, and to everyone else for sharing their links.

*Weird!!!*

Yes but I still think it's all chosen by us before we're born. Just like we choose how our lives will be before we're even here. We choose what our strengths and weaknesses will be so we can learn from them. We choose our families, where we'll be born, etc.

At least that's what I believe anyway.

I've been told I'm an Indigo. I don't know - doesn't do me much good to think so really or label myself that way.

I do, however, think my son is a Crystal

Okay...Now I see where you're coming from, BRM! I agree that we choose our options beforehand. However, we usually try to apply some type of reason to these things, as in the case of genetics. I was curious as to what made an indigo an indigo-- not as in criteria, but as in "logical" cause. (Please note the quotes!)

For example, I'm a Sagittarius because I chose to be so before birth. I am also a Saggitarius because my birthday is December 16th. That's what I was looking for!

I got a bit confused when I read about the crystals and the... shoot! I forgot what the other one was called.

Are they subtypes of Indigos?

I feel the same as you two guys do about making plans to learn lessons here before we come though. A play with actors and actress!!!

future_ uncertain please share your findings of logical with us, if you do. I would really like to know, because I have been pondering and wondering this also?

Thats what I meant by all the different types. How did this come about, or configure?

Confused!!!

Thanks for sharing guys!!!

Supposedly, Crystals are the next 'wave' after the Indigos.

Then there are Rainbows and this and that and all sort of other terms. Sometimes I think it's nothing more than a ******* match between parents if you know what I mean.

"Oh you have an Indigo child? How cute. MINE is a Crystal"

"Oh really? Mine just transformed into a Rainbow child"

"Oh yeah well I'm pregnant with a Translucent Child!"

etc. etc. etc.

Not to say that I don't believe in some of it - because I do But I'm a little skeptical of people in general and their motives.

as to why people choose to come as an Indigo or what have you - I know what you are trying to ask. I'm not sure of the answer, though. I guess there's a bigger purpose for it... somewhere. I wish I knew what it was

"Why would some people be indigo and some people not."
My take on it is that maybe indigo aura is like a uniform or a banner for a generation. A soul decides to experience being a system buster, a revolutionary etc which would reflect in aura as predominant indigo and not the other way around.
I also think that indigo people is not a new phenomenon on the planet. I'm thinking all the world -changing revolutions, periods in history of humanity.People had to be thinking "outside the box".

Did any one read the part on people being born in the sixies and being a Indigo here to teach the younger Indigos? So they would have to be some different Indigo generations, wouldn't you think?

Or do you think it may be not so much based on years, but in ones character taits that makes them an Indigo child. Maybe for the most part they are born in a certain time frame, but not all.

There are a series of books channeled to a man named Lee Carol, called The Kryon books... and there are many.

I have read a few. My favorite being The Journey Home. Its a wonderful parable.

In one of the Kryon books (I believe Book 6) he addresses the idea of Indigo kiddos. Then, he teamed up with a woman named Jan Tober and wrote a couple books about Indigo Children. I'm sure you could poke around the Kryon website and find more information on their books. They were written in the late 90s, so I'm sure they can be found for cheap on half.com or ebay or wherever.

There's also this E-zine called Children of the New Earth, created by the same team who created PlanetLightWorker.com.

I still miss SpiritWeb

Sorry I've not been around here much guys.......but I've been busy worrying about the possible multiplication of my own children .......let alone Indigo Children. I think I could actually be pregnant with a Translucent Child (well, they kinda are translucent in the early stages, are they not?!).

Howdy LTL... I took a test in a book when I was about 12 that said I was an Indigo. That was before I acctually knew what that was. Seems extremely accurate now that I read a more detailed description.
