You bet! I am 100% for gay marriage! Some jerks parade around here with anti gay signs and write long and stupid articles in the newspapers.
They have this one really stupid sign:
Steve and Bob= no children!
Be fruitful and multipy so saith the Lord!"
Firstly why they seem to often pick those names...and secondly...Gads! There are over 6.6 Billions people on this planet! What is with the thing the dogmatics go on about...breeding like fricking rats...contributing to overpopulation...and sadly...not all mind you...but many of these prolific breeders are producing not the best minds or even average minded kids. Alot of these folks are not improving the human genepool.
It is not safe or wise to jump in that "pool" and breed beyond "replacement" numbers.
So...in that respect...people should consider gay unions a great thing! And when gay people do choose to have children...it is usually with much more foresight and planning than the prolific breeders who just do it because their religion said so...or to get bigger welfare checks.
AND....Many gay people I know said if they were accepted and had the same rights as heteosexuals...incuding the right to marry...it would bring promiscuity way down.
It would reinforce true committment to their relationship...and the abilty to be out to their neighbors and so forth..."if it were legal"..would protect them more from being attacked and take away the stress of having to hide their love or live apart from each other...just visiting alot. Without the social stress...gay marriage would be easier to maintain.
Ha ha! Which brings me to divorce lawyers! They should be for gay marriage! More divorce cases for them!

Anyone familiar with the comic Carlos Mencia?
He said that he believes gay marriage should be legal so that gay people can be just as miserable as straight people in marriage. I thought that was funny.

That whole "straight marriages equal children" thing is silly. you don't neccesarily have to be married to physically produce children and not all married couples want children. So maybe if we arent going to allow gay marriage, we shouldnt allow people who cant have or dont want kids to marry either.

My mother's not totally in the dark. Haha, we seem to have silent agreement. I don't bring it up, and she won't kill me.

My moms not totally in the dark, Im sure she suspects.

I mean, she just got me like a few hundred bucks worth of lancombe facial products when she was overseas (bless...)

And she did ask me once, and I just said "Would it really matter?".... and it was left at that.

My Dad on the other hand is a totally diffrent story.

Haha, my mother found some uhhh...political literature a friend lent me. Haha, and then she asked me why I cared so much about "f*ggot rights". I just told her to forget it.

Um.

That among others.

The father is absent. ::coughdeadbeatdadcough::

Our 6 yr old boy always used to love wearing dresses and makeup. As soon as he was old enough to understand I would kneel down, look in his eyes and say "always be yourself, and if anyone has a problem with that, the problem is theirs". He has said to me often "Mum I can be myself with you".

I am still amazed at the way some mothers are ......mother love.......mmmm......

My son loved magic wands when he was little and wore Harry Potter like glasses! But he got teased! Four eyes and girly toys(magic jeweled wands)....
Now see...it is cool for boys to mimic Harry Potter! But this was 10 years before those stories came out!

Also..for me...faggot was a cigarette or short pieces of wood for a woodstove!
Funny how the language gets "raped"..so to speak!

Bluemoon,
That list is very clever. I'd like to share it with some people I know. Did you write it yourself or find it floating around online? I'd like to give credit where credit is due if possible.
Thanks!

I am not for gay mariage. It is un-natural. Now, you can come with justifications saying it is prevalent in animal community - but we are humans and the Power of Choice. If we don't put to use the power of reasoning, yeah gay relations are okay, since we are no differnet from animals.

Just me.

No, I did not right that list. My son sent it to me. I am not sure who wrote it.

I believe that everyone has the right to there own feelings and beliefs, as long as it does not harm anyone else. Love makes that world go around.

Happy Pride day to all!!!
